Jordan desperately reached out for help. While Sara had done nothing wrong, he couldn’t help but feel her
immaturity. Which only made this situation so much worse. As much as he struggled and fought against
Sara’s firm grasp on him, he was unable to make any real progress towards freedom. Any ground he had
gained was because Sara had relented and allowed it.
He felt even smaller than he had outside as Sara talked to her mother about him. Filling her in on the details
from her perspective as if he wasn’t present. All the while, the heat from her hand continued to wrap around
him. He could feel his clothes getting even damper from a mixture of the oils of her skin and the warmth
radiating into him.
“Please listen!” Jordan yelled with all strength his voice had.
