Time was moving painfully slow. Jordan was unsure if he was just being impatient or if Tiffany had actually
been gone for as long as it felt she had. He was pacing back and forth wishing a radio or television some kind
of device was around to distract him.
Jordan had shifted to laying on the counter when heard footfalls but they sounded different than what he
remembered Sara and Tiffany’s footsteps sounding like. He knew he wasn’t an expert or anything but they
sounded not forceful enough. Jordan made his way to the edge of the counter when he saw a gigantic cat.
“That thing is fucking huge. You didn’t tell me you had a cat. Tiffany! Sara!” Jordan shouted instinctually to get
help then instantly covered his mouth as the cat stopped and looked in his direction.
