Mocha leaped off the counter as Sara walked fully into the kitchen with her face buried in her phone as she
typed messages to her friends.
“You didn’t tell me you had a cat!” Jordan said in frustration.
“I’m sorry Jordan. I didn’t think I would be gone that long. I got a call from work while I was on hold with the
hotline. I’m going to have to go in and do a double.” Some kind of outbreak spike so they need all the staff
who are immune on deck.
“Perfect, you can just take me with you. We don’t even need the hotline. you can just directly administer the
medicine to me and I can be on my way.” Jordan excitedly exclaimed
