“W-wait, what’s that encased in plastic? Why does it look like a tiny room…you don’t expect me to stay in there do you?” Jordan asked as his gaze moved from the mess on the floor to the rest of the room.
“It’s great, isn’t it? I made it myself after I mowed the lawn and its glass, not plastic. You have a little bed, food, and water. I put one of my old cell phones in there so you can listen to music and watch videos.” Sara proudly stated.
“I’m a person though. I can’t just stay in a cage. That’s not right. I still have rights.” Jordan said while trying to maintain his composure.
“It’s not a cage it’s a habitat and it protects you from getting hurt, from bugs & Mocha. I can’t just leave you out when I’m at school or work. As Mocha comes in here quite a bit. When I’m at home I’ll take you out & stuff.” Sara said not seeing what the issue was.
“Why can’t Mocha stay locked up?” Jordan questioned.
“That’s not fair to Mocha. She’s always been out and behaves. Plus, there is still the possibility of bugs and things.”
