“People are going to find out you got Smallera. I didn’t realize we were keeping it a secret. Besides, even if we are keeping it hush hush Ellie is my best friend. She’s gonna come across you. She’s over here a lot.” Sara interjected.
“I just can’t believe he came running towards you like that. It’s like something out of a movie.” Ellie said, staring at Jordan’s miniature form on her phone screen.
Jordan struggled to reason with the Titanic duo as Sara explained everything that had transpired from her perspective. Then how she had called the hotline and became Jordan’s guardian saving him from being placed in a host family’s home. While Jordan tried to explain everything from his perspective, he could tell Sara’s words were holding more weight than his.
“Shit, it’s almost seven. I gotta run. Text me, or else we can chat after unless you are going out with Mallory.” Sara said before disconnecting.
