“Whoa, help me? Put me down! Let go of my arm. Sara! Do not put me in this thing. I will not be kept in what is basically a cage. And I didn’t hear you correcting them when they referred to me as your pet.” Jordan shouted as loud as his meek voice could muster.
“Shhh, this is gonna be so much better once you’re inside. Trust me, everyone likes their own space. This changes nothing between us. I can’t help it if other people call you my pet. I’m merely in charge of your safety, feeding you, general well-being, and providing a safe home, and food. And I may have been granted power of attorney and was made your legal guardian as appointed by the state and US government. But pushing that aside, nothing has changed. You are still Jordan Fitz well technically I may have accidentally said yes to making you Jordan Reeves, but that operator could ramble, let me tell you. But like I said nothing has changed.” Sara said in a calm voice.
“What! you had them change my name! Call your mother. Call your mother now. Put me down and call Tiffany. This is utterly ridiculous.” Jordan shouted as best he could growing more upset by the minute.
“It’s bigger once you are inside. Trust me, and when has the U.S. Government made a mistake? Now, I am very respectful. Because I understand you’re upset, and this is new. But you will not squeak at me in that tone because you sound like a chipmunk and no matter how much you try to raise your voice. No one, and by no one, I mean me, can take you seriously like that.” Sara said bursting into laughter.
