“With his thirst quenched Jordan headed over to the phone Sara had left. He instantly went to the dial pad and tried calling his family. However, as soon as he tried to call he got a message saying the line was not active. Jordan noticed the phone was connected to the Reeves’ wifi network. Thinking that perhaps he could use an IP-based calling app. However, as soon as he tried to go into the app store a message popped up saying this was disabled due to parental controls.
”She locked me out of the app store. I can’t believe she has a parental lock on this. I’m an adult.” Jordan said as he looked through the phone he found the only apps installed were Spotify, Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. Jordan stomped his foot in frustration as he walked back over to his bed and sat down and did the only thing he could do, wait.
Jordan didn’t know how much time had passed. As Sara had disabled the clock on the phone. He wasn’t sure if it was on purpose or just because the phone wasn’t active. He finally heard her moving around on the bed. He shouted her name futilely. He soon remembered his voice didn’t carry with the lid closed. He waited patiently for the lid to be lifted off but he soon heard her footsteps become softer and softer. He knew she was still in the room as he could still hear the footsteps and things being moved around until finally, he heard some music turn on.
“What is she doing? She should be getting me out of here. She can’t just leave me caged like this.” Jordan said fuming as he paced back and forth. He could hear the clicking and clacking of computer keys and the dings of phone messages going back and forth. This continued for the better part of an hour before the footsteps returned and bright light rushed into Jordan’s world as he stared at a very nude Sara who was putting her hair up. His fury instantly flooded out of him as he was filled with embarrassment and started to turn away.
