“I don’t like this shirt. Just a sec.” Sara said pulling it off and grabbing a different one. While Jordan asked where his clothes were.
“You looked ridiculous like you were going golfing or something. I went to the store with Dad when he got home and got you an outfit. You were passed out in bed. I got rid of whatever you called that ensemble. By the way, you are not allowed to dress yourself anymore. That’s too much responsibility for you. ” Sara said as she pulled on a new shirt.
“You aren’t serious. You stripped me and stole my clothes. You can’t just..” Jordan said before Sara cut him off.
“Well, I did and I am. You left your home looking like that! I will grab your clothes in a sec. Now like I said last night. We need to establish some ground rules or this isn’t going to work. First of all” Sara started to say but Jordan started to interject. So she slid the lid closed on his habitat. “As I was saying. When I’m talking, your not. I’m not allowed to do that to my mom and you’re not allowed to do that to me. Rule number two you will not treat me like a child. I’m the one who is helping you. I’m the one accepted to the guardian program. They put you in my care not the other way around.” Sara said while looking down at Jordan as she tried to give him a stern look to show that she meant business.
“This isn’t happening. She’s a teenager. Tiffany will not allow this. I need an adult.” Jordan said looking at the lid still shut tightly.
“I know this isn’t what you wanted Jordan but this is the way it is. It’s really bad for you underbreds like you..ugh you’re so not up on the slang. Underbred, it’s what we all call you people who aren’t immune. Immunes are called purebreds. That outbreak yesterday was massive they don’t even know how many of you got infected or why it spiked like that but they talked about millions upon millions. Which your welcome by the way. I had Dad swing by your place. I turned on a few lights grabbed your wallet, keys, Social Security card, and phone, and locked your doors and windows. So it looks like someone is there but even if they get it in we have your valuables.
