Jordan pulled himself up the tower of books. As he looked behind him he could see the spider was closer then it ever had been before. Pain shot through Jordan’s knees as his foot slipped and he landed roughly onto his knees with all his weight. Reaching forward with his arms he grabbed the next layer of the book and pulled his body up with his arms.
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. SARA!! SARA!!! Where the hell are you?” Jordan yelled out “I don’t want to die. I’d be a horrible snack. I have no meat on me.” Jordan said as he reached the top of the books. The legs of the spider brushing up against of his. Jordan took his leg and kicked the head of spider of repeatedly in an attempt to knock the spider down but as his leg connected with the spider it felt like kicking a wall.
“I use to crush things like you with my foot. This isn’t happening.” Jordan shouted as he pushed himself forward trying to get his legs pulled onto the top of the book.
