Jordan felt sick as he watched the two giant teens enter his home. He hadn’t been back in here since he caught Smallara and rushed out the backdoor for help. The images of the frightening moment briefly ran across his mind as Sara walked into the living room.
The two teens snooped around briefly before deciding to get to work. Mallory started upstairs and Sara headed towards the kitchen. Sara rummaged through the cabinets and drawers as she marked items to be sold.
“You can’t just… this is all I have… You can’t just sell it.” Jordan pleaded as the teen held him in her hand as she went through a drawer before setting him on the counter.
“I promise I will get you appropriately sized things when you need them. But, what do you want to do with a spatula you can’t lift? Pots and pans you can’t cook with. Even the herbs in your herb garden are bigger than you. I have no use for this stuff right now and I have nowhere to store it. I know today will be hard. But after we do this it’s just you and me.
