“Sure, sure. Whatever you say, Sara. I should head back out there before they start looking for me.” Ellie said before the call ended.
“Ugh, I don’t like Hunter.” Sara fumed as she looked at Jordan. “Besides, I don’t even know how he would feel about you. We have never discussed underbreds, but thankfully I don’t think he is one of those underbred stans.”
“What do you mean thankfully?” Jordan questioned
“Well…” Sara said with a long pause. “You know the ones who are like equal rights for animals, humans, and underbreds. Like, it’s crazy that some people think you and Mocha should have the same rights as me. You’re my dependant. I’m literally providing everything you know. So in the same way that I’m not entitled to the same rights as mom. You all shouldn’t be entitled to the same rights as me. Just like You and Mocha are different. You can use logic and reason to make decisions in a way Mocha can’t. You naturally would have different rights than Mocha.”
Jordan wanted to yell that she was wrong. He wanted to refute her. He was a person just like her and deserved the same rights. However, he couldn’t deny that she had clearly thought this through in a way he hadn’t. She had points he couldn’t refute and he hated it. He hated that he couldn’t give her a reason. How could he argue that he was her equal when she could crush him with a wave of her finger?
“Let’s head upstairs. We need to do your room. Then we should be done.” Sara said flippantly
