Jordan felt sick as Sara walked into his room. He never imagined that someone like her would be in his bedroom. In his mind, it felt somehow wrong. She was a teen and he was an adult however he was powerless to do much of anything as she surveyed the room before setting him down.
The two didn’t say much of anything. Jordan was unsure if she was upset about the conversation or just tired of doing this. Jordan wanted to ask but he immediately thought better of it while Sara turned her attention towards a few dresser drawers under the guise of needing to mark things and grab anything they wanted to keep but they both knew she mostly wanted to just snoop through his things. After going through his drawers she went over to his closet.
“Naughty, Naughty. I see clothes on the floor. I thought you were much too mature for that. It looks like we have something in common.” Sara teased.
“I have a couple of things you have an entire outlet store on the floor,” Jordan shouted from the floor as leaned against her shoe. He hadn’t realized how much more strenuous it was to traverse well everything. His legs burned and he felt winded as he rested against her shoe. Jordan was about to ask about resting somewhere safe when Sara interrupted his thoughts.
“Hey, what’s this bag doing here? It looks so adorable. It doesn’t look like anything you would use.” Sara said as she looked down at it.
“Oh, we can leave that,” Jordan said sharply. “It’s nothing.” He was quick to reply.
“What do you mean? why? Who does it belong to? Surely not you.” Sara said.
“I-I bought it for an ex-girlfriend a few months ago but we broke up before I could give it to her. So I threw it onto the floor okay.” Jordan said fuming.
“Who was she? I had never seen a Mrs. Hottie.” Sara said.
“She wasn’t Mrs. Hottie. She was no one. We were together for a couple of years but she broke it off because she was busy with her internship. It’s not a big deal.” Jordan said.
“Did you like her or did you looove her? Did you want to marry Mrs. Hottie? You never answered the question”
“We are not talking about this..”
