Jordan felt his heart race as Sara’s fingers pressed against him. He was lifted out of the dark confines of her bag and into the bright light of a foreign room. However, Jordan didn’t have time to acclimate to the new environment as he was greeted with a new young face he had gathered was Dayton.
“Whoa, I haven’t seen one in person. I can’t believe how little he is.” Dayton said jumping up and down a bit as she stared at Jordan excitedly.
“Sara I know I messed up earlier. Can we please talk about this?” Jordan pleaded as he looked up at Sara’s giant face with concern in his eyes.
“Well, I suppose you could do my homework and I could play with Dayton. I just don’t think you could work my laptop very easily though and you seemed very concerned about efficiency earlier.” Sara said with a bit of snark in her voice. “I should warn you though I have a 3.9 GPA. So you best be getting A’s on all this. Being such a well-educated adult I’m sure trigonometry is a breeze for you.” Sara said sarcastically.
“Ummm, So Dayton what do you want to do while Sara does her homework? I heard Encanto came out on Disney Plus.” Jordan Said.
“I’m not five. I’m sure I can come up with something much better than TV for us to do.” Dayton said.
“Now Dayton, you need to be careful with him. That means holding him gently so you don’t hurt Body Hottie.. Do you see how I’m holding him. I use very little pressure. His little ears are sensitive so you can’t be shouting and making loud noises.” Sara instructed.
“Can he move your fingers? How strong is he? He doesn’t look very heavy. When do I get to hold him?”
“He’s not very strong. You can’t think of him like a real boy when it comes to strength. I’m not applying any pressure at all right now and I doubt he could move my fingers.”
“I’m right here you know!” Jordan said a bit more hurt in his voice than he intended.
“Oh, I didn’t mean to hurt your pride. You know you’re my whitto man Jordy poo. But, by all means, prove me wrong.”
“I-I don’t need to prove anything. We all know I could if I needed to. I would just hate to hurt you.” Jordan Said
“Of course we do,” Sara says while shaking her head no to Dayton.
