Jordan wasn’t ready to see Sara walk away as she pulled out her school books and a laptop. Dayton’s eyes were still transfixed on Jordan. She smiled down at the miniaturized man.
Jordan could feel the heat of her closed hand around him radiating against his body. He could feel the lower half of his body begin to sweat. Jordan pushed down on Dayton’s fingers hoping he could somehow squeeze out of her grip.
“It’s so cool. I can feel you squirming in my hand. It’s so strange. So my old Bestie doll is over here….” Dayton said her voice trailing off as she got closer to the doll house.
“This dollhouse is bigger than I remember. It should still work though. You will just have to use your imagination a bit.” Dayton said as she approached the large dollhouse.
Jordan felt smaller than he ever had before. As he stared into the massive dollhouse even the toy furniture was much larger than him. He felt sick in the pit of his stomach. How was he going to navigate this world when navigating this girl’s dollhouse would be challenging enough?
“So you might be too little to play the role of the guy. We’ll need to size you up to be certain though.” Dayton said as crouched down in front of the dollhouse.
“What do you mean to little? I”m a guy. I should be perfect for this and what do you mean role?” Jordan asked.
“Well, you were going to be the guy who just got caught cheating. When you got caught you realized you really did love your girlfriend so you were going to be trying to woo her back. The problem is with you being so small it’s not very convincing. I’m hoping once I get you side by side it will work.” Dayton said.
“Well look I’m not much of a doll person anyway. So why don’t we just play a game? I’m sure you have games here.”
“You’re too little to use Xbox or PlayStation controllers though and the tv is upstairs. Sara said we had to stay down here if we were going to play together.” Dayton said assertively.
“You know, I’m older than Sara. So why don’t you start going upstairs and I will just walk over to her and explain things and meet you up there as quick as I can.”
“Or, we make a movie. Because I want to make a movie and since Sara put me in charge of babysitting you. We are doing what I want to do. When you’re big enough to watch yourself. You can do what you want.” Dayton said.
