“Hmmph,” Dayton said skeptically as she eyed the small man before releasing her grip on him so that he could sit more comfortably in the palm of her hand.
“Don’t forget, I’m the boss,” Dayton said as if Jordan could somehow forget her constant reminders. Helplessly, Jordan watched the room pass in a blur of colors and shapes as Dayton bounded back to where he started.
“That was utterly pointless all my work to get away, and I’m right back where I started only now this brat twisted everything. Somehow making me the bad guy in all this got me in trouble with Sara, and she also managed to make herself look better in Sara’s eyes.” Jordan quietly mumbled to himself as Dayton set him back down next to the giant doll.
“So Rachel has just come home to confront you about cheating on her,” Dayton said.
“I can’t believe I’m doing this. Yeah, yeah. I’m ready.” Jordan said in an uninspired tone.
“Tony, I wanna know who this ho is who texted me a picture of you and her,” Dayton said in a fake voice. Jordan stood there looking at the doll.
“Do I have to do everything?” Dayton muttered, grabbing Jordan and holding him up to the doll.
“Cross your arms and look all. I didn’t do anything wrong.” Dayton instructed before making a high-pitched squeaky voice and saying, “Rachel, it’s not what it looks like. That’s all Photoshop. You, know-how people, do that stuff these days.” Dayton said on behalf of Jordan.
“I do not sound like that!” Jordan said defensively.
“I do not sound like that. Sara, Sara Dayton’s being mean to me. I’m too little to solve my own problems, so I have to run to mommy Sara,” Dayton said in the high-pitched squeaky voice she had dubbed her Jordan voice.
“She is not my mother, and I don’t run to her.” Jordan huffed.
“Says the person I just easily caught running across the room to his mommy. Maybe I should put you in a little diaper and make you the baby?”
“Let’s not get hasty here. Look, maybe we got off the wrong foot. Let’s take this from the top. I uh better understand my motivations as an actor now.” Jordan said
“Tony, I wanna know who this ho is who texted me a picture of you and her,” Dayton said in her most mature-sounding voice.
