Jordan sat on the edge of her hand with his arm wrapped around Sara’s finger as she walked across the bedroom. It was still a humbling experience as Jordan knew it would take him dramatically longer to cover the same distance as he tried desperately not to look down. As Jordan knew, his fear of heights would flair up the moment he looked down.
“Normally, we would also spend more time on my hair, but I decided to just put it up today,” Sara said as she walked down the hall and went into the bathroom.
“What do you mean we?” Jordan asked nervously as he eyed her rope-like strands of hair.
“You will be helping, obviously. I thought we went over this yesterday when I mentioned I would have chores and special tasks for you to earn your keep around here. You don’t work anymore, so this is you pulling your weight.” Sara said matter of factly.
“I DO have an actual job, and I need to call them,” Jordan said.
“Oh…Right. I didn’t tell you as you were pretty busy with Dayton. I called your HR department yesterday while I was doing my homework. I spoke with Becca. She had so many nice things to say about you. She is very sorry to hear about your condition. I think she likes you. Is she Ms. Hottie?” Sara said with a hint of intrigue.
“You what? and no, she’s not Ms. Hottie.” Jordan said confused
“Just tell me who she is. I mean, how cute would it be if she was your size?
“It doesn’t matter. She was focusing on her job.”
“Oh, fine,” Sara said, giving up for the moment. “I got the number from your phone since you can’t work it anymore. Becca was saying because of your new limitations; your position will need to be filled with someone more able-bodied.”
“They can’t do that!” Jordan said with a mixture of anger and sadness.
“Don’t worry; you’re my dependant body hottie. I make enough to support us. You don’t need them. Your Paid time off will be cashed out, and your final paycheck will be paid out as well. I just gave them my bank account info since you’re too little to manage this kind of stuff now.”
“This can’t be happening. My job, my livelihood. I did a lot for them.” Jordan said
“If you need something, you just have to ask Body Hottie. You will be so proud of me. Responsibility master stuff right here.
