Jordan didn’t know how to take that. From what Sara had told him prior, he knew that her little friend group had all watched him. As he thought back on a multitude of times. Jordan could remember in his periphery that there were girls giggling and laughing. A gaggle of them would pass by his house each day. He never paid them any mind or attention.
“The girl scout?” Jordan said with a bit of unsureness.
“That’s me. Thank you for your patronage, Mr. Fitz. I always loved selling your house. It gave me a reason to have to knock on your door.” Ellie said before Sara burst out laughing.
“Don’t let those doe eyes fool you. She wasn’t even a girl scout. She would buy the cookies from girl scouts and then go to your door.” Sara said, still laughing as she drove down the road.

All your little muscles were flexing and bending.
“Damn girl, do I need to hose you down. I’m sorry Body Hottie. She’s not typically… who I am kidding. I’m just sorry.”
“You’re no fun. I was gonna see how far I could rile him up.” Ellie said as she looked down at Jordan. Almost instantly, the mood shifted in the car as the two made idle prater about events and things Jordan had no context for.
“You know Jordan,” Ellie said, shifting the conversation back to him. “You’re pretty lucky Sara found you. She’s a good person. We had a pact, you know. If one of us got it, we were gonna watch out for the other. Not many people you can trust with your life like that. “Stop, you’re embarrassing me. Don’t pay her any mind. I didn’t do anything special.” Sara said
