“You all are hilarious,” Stephanie said sitting on the bench with Sara
“This doesn’t change the fact I shouldn’t be in here,” Jordan said to Sara hoping she would understand his concern where Ellie did not.
“What do you mean? Where else would you be?” Sara said a bit confused about the issue.
“Do I need to spell this out for you all? I’m a guy in the girl’s locker room. I could be arrested.” Jordan shouted as best he could.
“You’re a guy but not really a guy though. Watch. JEN! Jen, come here for a sec.” Sara shouted towards the distant teen who started to walk over.
“What’s up?” Jen said as she approached the group
“Do you see anything concerning,” Sara said.
“ummm…..no? am I supposed to?” Jen said as she continued to look around before walking over to her locker.
“So you’re saying you aren’t bothered at all by body hottie being here?” Sara said with a smirk as she looked down at Jordan.
“Oh yeah, I heard you had a little pet man,” Jen said as her eyes lowered to the bench where Jordan was. “Oh, aren’t you just the cutest little thing? He is such a little heartbreaker look at him.” Jen said in a tone as if she was looking speaking to a small dog. “He is so handsome. I thought your family was all immune?” Steph said
“Oh we are. he was my neighbor. He had gotten sick and the little guy just threw himself at me practically in tears. I couldn’t just leave him outside like that so I took him in.”
“You are so sweet. I just don’t see how you find the time. But yeah, why would anyone care if he’s in here? He’s harmless.” Jen added.
“See that’s what I was trying to tell him on the way in here,” Ellie added as Jordan looked around uneasily. He knew he had lost and there wasn’t really anything he was going to be able to do about it. It wasn’t as if he could leave.
The bustle of the locker room was uncontrollably loud. The humid smell of female sweat hung in the air. Jordan peered over the edge of the bench only briefly before his fear of heights kicked in. He didn’t like how far up he felt on this bench, but what he didn’t like more was just how close he was to Stephanie’s foot.
She used her other foot and pushed her toes against the heel of the shoe and pushed it off her foot letting it drop with a thud to the ground below. The simple movement was nothing and unnoticeable to giants around him but to Jordan, at his newfound size, he found himself a bit awestruck by the agility of her feet which themselves were almost double his size.
