“It looks like you’re giving up.” the dark-skinned teen said as she looked down at Jordan who was about to try yet another shot when she moved her finger forward slamming the finger into his chest and knocking him down to the ground. As he went to stand up her finger pressed him back down.
Jordan pushed against her finger trying to get it off his chest, but it was immovable to him. He shouted for her to let him up before punching the side of her finger.
“It’s sickening how you let her cart you around like a prized show dog while at the same time, you complain when you’re called out for it. If you don’t want to be a pet stop acting like one.” the dark-skinned teen spat at Jordan as he saw a look of disdain in her eyes.
“Get off him, Tamara,” Sara said to the dark-skinned girl holding Jordan down. Ellie then came up next to Tamara and shoved her while Sara’s hand blanketed Jordan before scooping him up.
“This just proves my point. Look at yourself.” Tamara said as Sara held Jordan against her stomach with a furious gaze at Tamara.
“He’s with us Tamara, so lay off. Go pick on one of the others.” Ellie shouted at Tamara.
“Steph, hold him,” Sara said as she dropped Jordan into Stephanie’s hand Sara stormed forward with rage in her eyes.
“Oh no, Sara, Sara,” Ellie said as she moved to try to step between Tamara and Sara but she found herself to be a step too slow. As Sara punched Tamara sending her staggering backward.
“Jordan belongs to me and you will stay away from him,” Sara said before Ellie pulled her back as Ms. Sanchez came over hearing all the commotion.
“What is going on?” Mrs. Sanchez said looking at Tamara and then Ellie, Sara, and Stephanie.
“Nothing Ms. Sanchez. We’re good here. Tamara and I just had a misunderstanding, but I think we’re on the same page now.” Sara said with a glare.
“Yeah, we talked it out, Ma’am,” Tamara said as she ran her hand down her Jaw as she moved it from side to side as she turned around, and started walking away.
“Jordan? Is…” Ms. Sanchez started to say before Sara cut her off.
“with all due respect, I speak for Jordan and I said we’re fine, Ms. Sanchez. That’s not going to be a problem is it?” Sara asked
“No, everything seems to have worked itself out. Just remember to keep things civil while in class, please.” Ms. Sanchez said as she looked down at Jordan trapped in one of her student’s hands as they walked by on their way out of the gym.
