Jordan clambered up Stephanie’s inclined hand peeking over her fingertips. When he stopped to think about it all climbing up a hand to peek over someone’s fingertips all sounded absurd. However, this slowly degenerated into becoming Jordan’s reality. Where it is just something that he does as part of his daily life.
The image Jordan was greeted with was unlike anything Jordan could have imagined. Jordan had heard of the Smallera Enforcement Agency or SEA, but he hadn’t ever seen agents from them in the wild before.
SEA, The newest federal agency is responsible for all management of vaccine and medical research pertaining to Smallera in the U.S. However, they are also responsible for the enforcement of Smallera laws, protection of Smallara infected citizens, and all licensing and education as it pertains to Smallera-related matters in the U.S.
Jordan felt a bit of regret as he looked over at the young teenage girl in handcuffs. He could remember seeing political ads on TV about not voting for certain political figures because of their goal to create an agency like this. Now seeing what was created in action Jordan found himself wishing he could take back his complacency.
“What’s going to happen to her?” Jordan questioned still unable to fully believe what he was witnessing. “She was just trying to care for her parents. It’s despicable that she would have to pay to keep them, or you had to pay to keep me for that matter.”
“This is how the world works now. She should have just reported them on the hotline. She would have had options.” Sara said matter of factly
“What if it was your parents though? Would you feel the same way?” Jordan asked
“My family is immune and so are my friends outside of Gavin. Supposedly only 7.5% of the U.S. population is susceptible to Smallera for some reason.” Sara said.
“What if you or your family weren’t? Wouldn’t you try to keep them if you couldn’t afford the fees?” Jordan asked.
“I would have called the hotline. Tried for a loan, sold the house, or the possessions inside the house. I would try everything I could to legally keep them. Now, look at the situation she’s in?” Sara said
“You probably could just do a stream. You’re practically an influencer anyway.” Ellie said
“I am not, stooop,” Sara said a bit embarrassed.
“You get sent merch and have a sponsored Twitch channel, which makes you an influencer in my book,” Stephanie said
