“She is such a skilled driver. You should be proud of her.” Jordan said, figuring it was probably wiser to side with Sara. Especially since it seemed like, for better or worse, she was in charge of him. Even though Tiffany Reeves was in charge of Sara. Shit rolls downhill, as they say.
“Keys,” Mrs. Reeves said with a not-impressed look on her face. Sara pulled out the keys handing them to her mom. “I just can’t believe you would disregard the rules like this.
“I didn’t break them, though. I was never without a licensed adult driver.” Sara said. “I don’t see why I should be punished just because I carry an adult around in my purse.”
“I will think about if I’m comfortable with you driving with Jordan. However, you’re still in trouble for hiding this. No streaming for a week, and outside of school, work, and babysitting, I want you home.” Mrs. Reeves said.
“That’s not fair, and I can’t stop streaming. I have a sponsorship deal with Mountain Dew and sponsored streams for the new Call of Duty. I’m contractually obligated.” Sara said with a bit of attitude.
“I don’t know who you think you’re talking to with that Sass in your voice. But you are not too big for me to get one of your father’s belts and remind you.”
“No, Ma’am. I’m sorry, Mom.” Sara said, instantly changing her tone. “I will do better. What I meant was that streaming is also a job for me at this point.”
“We expected you to be more responsible when we agreed to let you get a little person to care for Sara. This is very disappointing.” Tiffany argued.
“That’s not fair. I’ve been a super responsible mom. I filed all the paperwork for licensing and registration with the government. I went through everything at the house and got it marked for sale. I have the movers coming to clear everything out that is just being sold this week. I got him registered with the school. I made an appointment for Jordan to see Dr. Andrews tomorrow. Not to mention I’ve kept him fed and watered.” Sara said, attempting to defend herself.
“Wait, why am I going to the doctor? Also, I don’t need to be fed and watered like…” Jordan managed to get out before Sara cut him off.
“You should be seen and not heard in these situations Jordan. You know what you need to know.” Sara said with a glare that immediately made him regret opening his mouth. What bothered him most was that she used his name. Sara never used his name when speaking directly to him unless he was in trouble or she was upset with him. He had only been with her a few days, and from a psychological standpoint, Jordan understood what she was doing. He was just struggling to combat Sara renaming him. She always referred to him as Body Hottie, and the more she used it, the more normal it seemed.
Jordan looked over at Tiffany Reeves, Sara’s mother, hoping that she would say something. She would certainly put a stop to her daughter speaking to him like this. He was an adult, and no matter how upset she was, this was not appropriate. Jordan knew Sara had messed up this time. When they were alone, it was one thing. He has no way to combat her on equal footing. But her mother was another story.
“I am very happy you are taking this seriously. As like we told you at the start. If your grades or responsibilities around the house slip. You can lose him until you demonstrate you can handle it. I can only assume you didn’t mention this car business on purpose.”
“You can’t take just take him and put him on top of the fridge like you did my Nintendo DS when I was a kid,” Sara said
“I can’t?” Mrs. Reeves said.
“No, no, no, I’m sorry, Mom. Please, I’ve worked so hard to keep him. See how obedient he has been. He minds me so well. He won’t be any problem. I promise I will tell you everything from now on.”

she wasn’t saying the “you should be seen and not heard” about him defending her. That was about him asking about the doctors at that moment which upset her.
That was a bit of a bad on Jordan. Sometimes you have to read the room. There were better times to ask that question than that moment.
Yeah, Jordan should have asked when she brought up taking him to the doctors the first time, probably when she made the appointment oh wait Sara’s not that good at communicating.
(By the way you said DR andrews in this one but the Dr she takes him to is Dr Wilson)
I think Sara trating Jorden like a little kid eventhough he’s way older than her is very good touch in the story line. Shes not bad Jorden is a small tiny perosn now and quite frankly it is cool to see him being babyed and getting lower and lower in anannocent kind way, that is the beauty of this story, to see this world from this pov. I loved that Sara is just a teenager that having an old man as her pet and treat him like Moca, in my poinion it would be so fun to see her meeting his old male friends and see how she should speak to someone as old as Jorden while she schole him in front of them and they could take some part of the scholing too. I know it is a pandamic and there are more tiny people, but seeing Jorden as if he is the only person in the intire world who got tiny and been kicked out of grownups world all the way down to toddler’s or maby bab’s world the so intersting.
