“You are very fit,” Lisa said to Jordan as she asked him to kneel down so she could easily do her tasks.
After being around Sara and her friends for the past few days, it felt nice to be interacting with someone normal. The idea that he could still be taller than someone was comforting.
“You are going to feel a quick prick in your arm. We are just removing the residual remnants of the Smallera virus. We can then inject it into your guardian.”
“Wait, what?” Jordan asked as he felt a prick and watched the syringe fill with a colored substance.
“Well, you know that Smallera causes your body to age slower. So we harvest the remnants left behind which is rich in the chemicals which slow aging.” Lisa then handed the small syringe to Dr. Wilson.
Lisa then picked up a small device that looked similar to a gun. As she walked back over to Jordan, she explained that this device would inject the microchip into him and then seal the injection point.
Jordan wasn’t thrilled with this idea, but he knew there was nothing he could do or say to stop it at this point. Any argument he could come up with just wasn’t all that logical in why this was a bad idea. He wasn’t even truly opposed to it. He just didn’t like the idea of being registered with Sara in this way.
His thoughts of opposition ceased when he felt pain race through his body. If he wasn’t already kneeling, he would have certainly dropped to his knees. The pain was very brief, but in the brief moments it existed, it was excruciating.
Jordan started chatting with Lisa, who was checking on him. As she wanted to make sure he wasn’t feeling any discomfort. Afterward, they continued chatting while Jordan noticed she was flirting with him. He began to engage in a bit of flirting as well when Sara’s giant finger came down and patted him gently on the head.
“You did so well. I’m so proud of you.” Sara said encouragingly before picking Jordan up and giving him a brief hug against her stomach before clutching him against her chest.
Jordan felt a wave of embarrassment as Sara hugged him and then held him against her while talking with Dr. Wilson. Jordan immediately felt any chance he had with Lisa fade as he looked back at her still on the examination chair while he was cuddled against Sara who finally set him down in her lap, but the damage was done to his reputation.
“It looks like we were able to harvest enough from Jordan for about four people. So after we give you a dose, you’d have three more available to you. It is marked on your master record, and we have a cold storage safe that we label and mark your vials with.” Dr. Wilson said.
Jordan watched as Sara was administered a dosage. He had actually heard of this. It was more of a surprise that it was able to be removed from him so quickly and reapplied to someone else. He knew someone with Smallera had the potential to slow the aging. There was debate as to if this would extend a person’s actual life. But nothing conclusive had been proven last he had heard.
