“I plan to train Body Hottie to do this behind-the-scenes stuff. He can download the video from my iCloud and then put together and submit it. then I can just approve the post and it’s out to my social channels.” Sara said to Stephanie as Jordan was still struggling to keep the phone upright at their feet.
This plan of Sara’s was one he wished she would have at least run by him. However, he knew that Sara didn’t need his permission to do anything. Jordan could see where this was going. He was going to slowly become basically an unpaid employee. From what he had been able to piece together he knew she had created a fairly successful platform and from what she told her mother. She had sponsorships of some level. Maybe she was more shrewd than he gave her credit for. Jordan thought as he felt the ground vibrate and rumble.
It became harder and harder to maintain his ability to stand upright. Jordan craned his head up seeing a pair of shoes in front of him before all the weight that was bearing down on him vanished. Sara’s phone which he was holding onto was lifted higher and higher. Everything happened so quickly that before he thought about letting go he was already much too high up to feel comfortable letting go.
A wave of helplessness hit him as he continued his ascent until he found himself holding onto the phone for dear life as he dangled in front of the smiling face of Dayton. Jordan gulped in a bit of fear as the memories of his previous time with Dayton washed over him. As he looked at her he felt as if she was looking past him.
“So is she this size Nicole?” Dayton said as Jordan heard the footsteps of Nicole come up from behind him. Normally Jordan would have been able to pull himself up. But, the fact he had been holding up Sara’s phone for several minutes made it so he no longer had the upper body strength to perform such a feat.
Jordan helplessly twisted in the air as his fingers gripped the glass screen of Sara’s phone for dear life. He shouted for help but his plea was drowned out by the voices of Dayton and Nicole talking.
“Yeah, she’s probably about that size maybe a little bigger,” Jordan heard Nicole say to Dayton. “They aren’t very strong so you need to help them a lot,” Nicole said as she pointed at Jordan struggling to pull himself onto the phone.
“He was much stronger last time I saw him,” Dayton commented as if she was oblivious to him holding this phone up when she found him. Dayton moved her finger underneath Jordan’s dangling feet allowing him to clamber up onto the phone. He breathed a heavy sigh of relief as he looked over at Nicole and said thank you. As he continued to gasp for air as his body struggled to catch its breath.
