Anna walked into the closet vanishing for a couple minutes before reappearing. Jordan couldn’t believe how expensive this collar was and he was more shocked that Chloe could just casually decide to buy it. Sara had said they were very well off but she had not alluded to what level. But, he surmised that since her family ran and owned the largest little research and product design company in the world. She had access to more money than he had ever known.
As Anna returned she squatted back down and lowered her hand. She nicely asked Jordan to step into her hand so she could properly apply the collar. Jordan was a bit confused as to why he needed to be in her hand now when he hadn’t before but stepped onto the palm of her hand. Before he knew it he found himself raising back up. She seemed to have similar training to Sara as he felt comfortable and steady in her hand and she displayed no hint of nervousness.
“Now we are just going to put the collar on,” Anna said as Sara and Chloe stood up and moved beside her. Jordan felt Anna press the leather collar against his neck not leaving much room for separation. It felt more like wearing a choker-style necklace. He overall found the collar to not be uncomfortable but he was aware of it. It wasn’t until he felt Anna press firmly against his neck that he noticed this collar was different from anything he had ever experienced before.
“So our collars unlike others and unlike the demo collar you saw are not equipped with a buckle. You’ll notice a decorative strap on the back of this collar that goes partly to the front. Those are real diamonds seated in gold bases. The underside of the strap itself has an adhesive on it which when it’s pressed into the leather heats and slightly burns sealing itself to the collar while providing no danger to the little.”
“Why can’t I take this off? I get that it needs to be on when I’m out of the house but when I’m at home with Sara surely I can take it off.” Jordan said feeling for a mechanism to remove it.
“Yes, I was just getting to that. The collars come with a lifetime warranty and are little proof. We have tested this on thousands of littles worldwide and the durability of leather along with the technology we built into the collar makes removal by a little impossible as their body cannot create enough force to remove the collar.”
“What? It was never mentioned that this would be a permanent fixture around my neck.” Jordan said
“Well its intended purpose is compromised if you can remove it and besides the expectation of the law is that it would be on you at all times. It has a built-in tracking feature that syncs to Generitech satellites and informs the guardian exactly where the little is at all times. There is the possibility of a 1mm margin of error in the result readings. It also detects any piercing maneuver with enough force to cut the collar and harmlessly disables the little and any littles around the little. As we found in testing they would have another little cut it off. However, we also found that over time once the collars were introduced into little culture they became more accepted and the attempts at removal stopped. We also saw littles attach a status to the collar. Where those with nicer collars were viewed in higher regard than those with lesser collars. However, at this early stage, we found it more prudent to leave such features in place. Especially with the infancy of the American Little culture” Anna said as she looked at Jordan examing that the collar wasn’t too tight.
“What do you mean disables the little? How is he disabled? Does he feel pain or are there any aftereffects or side effects? I’m not sure how I feel about him being disabled.” Sara said
“I assure you it’s 100% harmless and the little’s are in no pain. It just emits a noise that with the smaller ears of a little only they can hair. The noise was found to put them into a REM sleep state. They can be woken by regular means just as you or I could. No side effects or after effects come into play as they are just harmlessly put to sleep.” Anna explained.
“Well, it sounds safe enough as long as it can’t be triggered by accident. Are you okay with that Body Hottie?”
“It’s not possible for it to be triggered by any means other than a piercing attack from a little. We guarantee that.”
“Well, it sounds like I can’t take it off anyway, and as long as It can’t be activated in any way other than me trying to cut it off or I assume remove the collar then I’m fine with it.”
“Yes, there is no way for a non-little to activate it as it’s not meant to be a punishment feature. It’s merely to stop removal attempts which would put the little in violation of the law. You can tug and pull on the collar to adjust it and it won’t activate as you don’t have the physical strength required to remove it. The little body is physically incapable of producing enough force.”
“So basically it’s stuck around my neck for the rest of my life? Got it. I mean at least it doesn’t have bells or jingle like a cat collar. I also appreciate the lack of spikes like a dog collar.”
“Yes, well we worked hard to make it something elegant and not as crude as something for a lesser being like a domesticated animal. On the back of the plaque, it is digitally engraved with your address. You can update that through the app. The front also is engraved with the Little’s name using laser etching.”
“Good with it saying Jordan maybe we can finally shake this body….” Jordan with his voice trailing off at the end as he looked down at the tag which read Body Hottie.
“You’re so funny. Of course, it would have your real name on it Body Hottie. You’re my whitto man just look at you in that cute collar the engraving looks perfect. I was worried Body Hottie may not fit well on it.” Sara said as she moved her hand next to Anna’s.
