The idea of Allison coming to New York was not ideal in Jordan’s mind. He loved his sister. He wanted what was best for her. He wanted her to start a new life away from all this. He still wished that a way existed where she didn’t have to care for their parents. As he knew it wasn’t what they ultimately wanted. But, he also couldn’t blame Allison for wanting to care for their parents.
He just hoped she ended up going to Chicago as he had a feeling she wanted to come to New York to see him. She always talked about wanting to visit him and see the city even before Smallera. The idea of his sister seeing him like this was at best embarrassing and worst case utterly humiliating.
Jordan pushed the thoughts of his sister from his mind as Sara was wrapped up in the world of Social Media. He watched her from his car make a few faces and snap photos of herself before she turned to typing on her phone. He really wished she would turn off the digital keyboard sound on her phone.
After several minutes passed by Sara stood up walking across the room. She paused briefly looking down at Jordan. Jordan stopped the vehicle as he looked upward at the giant guardian.
“I’ll be right back. Don’t get into anything.” Sara said with a finger wag before walking towards the bedroom door. The first thought that was on his mind was if she would leave the door open. Sara’s room was so cluttered he couldn’t get up to full speed. However, he quickly thought better of it. He knew she would probably catch him. She was very observant.
Jordan watched as Sara opened the door and closed it tightly behind her locking him in her room and ending any temptation. Instead, he whipped the buggy around in started down the side of her bed. While it had a bunch of things pushed underneath it he also saw several places where he could turn in and do a little exploring. Since it was late enough into the evening he figured that he would save that for another day.
Several minutes had passed by as Jordan drove about the room. The more comfortable he got with the buggy the more he wished Sara had set up some kind of ramp for him to really get some air. He knew that wasn’t her intent though. She seemed to have visions of him eventually using this to drive himself around the home. He also didn’t mind this as it would be more independence now that Mocha was going to be out of the picture.
As Sara walked back into the room closing the door she smiled as she stepped over him before sitting down at her computer. She looked down at Jordan and told him that she was going to go live and stream for a bit. Almost immediately Jordan felt sick but much to his surprise, Sara had said that he didn’t need to be a part of this stream.
A sense of relief crossed Jordan as Sara went live. The only thing Jordan wished he had thought of was that he had wished she put him in his habitat. It was not something he had ever fathomed that he would think. The idea of relaxing and watching some Netflix seemed nice. However, now that she was live he knew that was not going to be possible till she was done.
