Sara had just finished her stream and signed off as she yawned and then stretched her arms out. It had felt like a long day. The idea of calling in sick to school sounded amazing, but she knew her parents would never go for that. Especially after they had gotten her Jordan. She knew that they wouldn’t let her out of any of her responsibilities. As she knew her mother wanted her to get a therapy dog or something more traditional than an underbred.
“You ready for bed Jordy?” Sara said with another Yawn as she stood up and watched Jordn drive over to the back of her bed before coming to park next to some of her shoes. She watched Jordan shut off the radio and turn off the engine. She couldn’t help but smirk a little about how attached he was to the buggy already. Seeing his excitement over it and the pride he had in it made the purchase more than worth it to her. Even if she had to dip into personal savings a bit.
She hoped tomorrow would go quicker although since Jordan missed a day of school. She was going to have to get together with Maisy tomorrow so they could do their project work with Jordan. She was almost sure he was going to complain about it. The only hope she had was that he at least minded himself around Maisy. Sara made a mental note to remind Jordan about behaving around her.
Even with the suspension of the buggy, he could still feel it shake slightly as Sara walked up behind it. Looking up at her body and hung in the sky above him while her arms reached down toward him.
“That’s good enough. We can worry about a better parking spot tomorrow. I can shove some stuff around.” Sara said as Jordan looked up further underneath her bed. He was silly to think she was going to clean out the underside of her bed and make a proper space for his buggy. The words shove stuff around were all too accurate Jordan thought. As he knew that was all she was going to do.
Sara dropped her hand to the floor as she waited for Jordan onto her hand. She noted that he looked as tired as she did. So it shouldn’t be too difficult to get him into his habitat. She felt like he was starting to warm up to the idea of the habitat. However, it was hard to say definitively one way or the other.
She was sure over time he would grow to like it. It was just a new concept for them both but for him especially. She would try letting him sleep without the lid on covering it tonight although she didn’t like the idea of that all that much. As she knew bugs were still a threat. While it is glass and slick she didn’t rule out something being able to climb the glass or fly down into it. However, not having it covered at first may ease Jordan into it more.
