Jordan watched quietly as Dayton left her bedroom. As she closed the door he remained motionless for a couple minutes. He didn’t want to be caught doing anything that would upset the giant. Once he heard her footsteps thunder away Jordan bolted up and rushed to the side of her desk.
The gulp was audible as Jordan looked down. He quickly took several steps back as even in this nightmare scenario his fear of heights gripped him. The spinning of the room began to subside the further he got from the edge of the desk. He cursed Dayton’s name quietly he looked around for any way down but he couldn’t see a way that wouldn’t engage his fear of heights. Dayton had effectively trapped him here.
It wasn’t long before the bedroom door opened back up and Dayton walked back in before once again making sure the door was tightly closed. He watched her kneel down in front of the door shove a towel underneath the gap in the door before going over to her closest door and doing the same.
“That should keep you from getting out,” Dayton said as she stood in front of the desk looking down at Jordan.
“You can’t do this! You can’t just kidnap people. Now take me to your mother.” Jordan said as firmly as he could. Dayton glared down at Jordan a bit surprised that an underbred was speaking to her in such a manner.
“You’re an animal and you’re not even tagged or collared. You can’t kidnap an unregistered, unlicensed animal. Don’t worry though you’re going to be MY pet. I’ll get you registered and stuff once I get Mom on board.” Dayton said.
“Look, I know this is going to sound crazy but this isn’t real. This is just a nightmare I’m having. So look we can just end this bad dream I’m having by you taking me to the hospital. As then I will wake up and everything will be normal.”
“How dumb do you think I am? I’m not six. Are you defective or something? I can see you clearly this isn’t a dream or whatever.” Dayton said as she used her index finger and knocked Jordan over.
“If this was a dream I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be an underbred. Who dreams of something like that? It would be like going to bed and dreaming of being a bug. People have bigger dreams than that.” Dayton said while laughing at the notion of the absurd thought.
Jordan pinched at his body and felt his arms and legs. Everything seemed solid. He started to think about getting bigger as Dayton was right. He was dreaming he should be able to make himself bigger. He didn’t seem to be able to wake himself but he should be able to try to alter himself.
He thought as hard as he could about growing larger than Dayton. Picturing himself in his mind as a full-sized adult in Dayton’s bedroom. He might have a little explaining to do but hopefully, he will wake up before then. Jordan said to himself I’m full-sized and then opened his eyes. He looked around and back at Dayton but nothing had changed.
“Is this not a dream? What the fuck is going on.” Jordan said as he inched backward away from Dayton.
“So, I have a hamster cage in my closet that I can use for you. However, it’s too big to hide. Mom would definitely notice that setup in here and it’s slightly too big to fit underneath my bed. I have a great idea though.” Dayton said with a giggle.
