Good Girlfriend Episode 5.5: A Smallara Side Story

Good Girlfriend 5.5 1 Bonus

Gavin didn’t think Mallory was serious about the timeout. He wasn’t a child after all. He didn’t even consider it a severe threat until it was too late. He felt his girlfriend’s fingers grasp him. The one dainty hand was replaced by one of seemingly pure muscle. He had long since given up on pounding or pushing against her fingers. It was always in vain for someone of his stature and size.

As she lifted him upward, he could see a large jar. It was a decorative jar she had on her desk. He remembered it having coins in it at one point, then various beads and things. Now though, it was completely emptied. He didn’t see the contents anywhere. All that was left was a piece of tape with timeout scrawled across it.

Gavin desperately tried to explain his way out of it, but Mallory kept inching him toward the gigantic jar. As she removed the lid, she gently lowered him down to the base of the jar before gently letting him go. Gavin could only watch as her hand retreated, and she placed the lid back onto the jar before peering in at him. It was a bit unnerving with her gigantic eyes following his every move and action, looking at him from the other side of a glass wall as if he was some exhibit at a zoo.

The look of disappointment was etched on her face as she continued to look at him. In times past, when they got into arguments, he would leave, and in a couple of days, it would blow over, and Mallory wouldn’t bring it up again. She was just happy to see him. Now though, this felt different. He had nowhere to go. She had somehow coaxed his mother into becoming his Guardian. He assumed the effects weren’t immediate as paperwork had to be filed and such, along with fees. The process wasn’t cheap. He wondered how Mallory was paying for it, but after a moment of contemplation, it had to be her parents. They weren’t strapped for cash by any means, but the idea of paying a substantial sum for him somehow felt wrong.

“Mallory! Mal!” Gavin shouted as he pounded on the glass. The jar didn’t even budge, nor did Mallory change her expression. She looked at him for a few seconds before looking down at her purse and gathering everything that had spilled out of it. After she put everything back into her purse, Gavin watched her straighten up her room before coming back to the desk. She pulled out her homework, and Gavin could do nothing but watch her work. No matter how much he screamed or how many times he kicked or punched at the glass wall, Mallory wouldn’t respond in even the slightest manner.

After a while, Gavin slunk down onto the floor of the glass Jar and rested his back against the far wall. He knew he was defeated. He could do nothing to end this. The only person who could end it was Mallory. Gavin briefly got his hopes up when her mother walked in. The two spoke for several minutes before she left. He didn’t even think she noticed him as never once did she so much as even look at him.

The sun had fallen before Mallory tapped her finger on the jar, gaining Gavin’s attention. He looked up at her warped face and body looking down at him. She peered down at him, leaning close to the jar and watching every movement for a few seconds before finally pulling off the lid.

“Gavin, is there anything you want to say to me?” Mallory asked as she looked down at her miniature boyfriend. She crossed her arms and gave him a bit of a glare to let him know that he isn’t off the hook even though she knew she had already forgiven him. But she wasn’t about to let him know that. He had gotten away with walking away and making her the bad guy too many times. She was going to let him stew and grovel for her forgiveness for a change before making him admit how much he loved her.

Been wondering for a bit, how do you decide which slides are X.5 rather than just being the next number.

It occurs to me that the final line of “grovel for her forgiveness” may change the context of when he’s polishing her toe ring later, lol

I know, I just thought cleaning her Toe ring was gonna be the work.
