“Ms. King, Olivia King, you will stop this nonsense immediately. In fact, I’ve had enough of this. Maybe a second detention will get your butt in gear.” Mr. Harrison said, walking towards his now giant computer. Looking down at the thumb pad, he was about to try moving the mouse when the shadow of Olivia fell over him. He watched her reach over him and power off the laptop.
Olivia took a step back after she powered off the laptop. Looking down at the small teacher, she waited for his reaction. He walked over to the power button. He was pressing down on the power button, but he didn’t have enough strength to activate it. A smile crept across her face as she watched him stand up and kick at the button a few times before walking towards her with his hands on her hips.
The eyes of Olivia looked her teacher up and down. As he placed his hands on his hips and tried to order her into doing what he wanted her to do. The more he spoke, she noticed the high-pitched squeakiness in his voice now. She looked over at everything on his desk seeing all of it tower over him.
“Can you even lift something to fill out a new detention slip? It’s a little funny how now you’re asking me to help you. Now, I seem to have your full and complete attention. Yet when Kendra was yanking my hair all class, you seemed to not want to hear it?”
“Look, Oliva. Perhaps I was a bit hasty to come to judgment. Why don’t we just let bygones be bygones? You can go. If you could just turn the computer back on, I could probably manage to get myself help.” Mr. Harrison said, taking a few steps back as his insecurities over this role reversal became more apparent.
“I don’t think that’s going to work for me, Mr. Harrison. As I’m still missing practice today after school. Even if I were to leave right now and change I’d still be in just as much trouble from Coach Murphy. I’m still going to have to hear it from my parents when I get home about the detention they were notified about. Kendra will have still gotten away with making my life hell for yet another day. So that’s not going to work for me.”
“I’m sorry okay? I clearly overreacted. I can get the school to look into the actions of Kendra Wallace. I had no idea she was doing this.”
“Oh, I’m sure you didn’t, Mr. Harrison. No one ever does. Princess Kendra is just too perfect to ever be thought of as doing something wrong. I think you’re going to be coming with me, Mr. Harrison.”
“Wha-what do you mean? Please, Ms. King, you are better than this.” Mr. Harrison said as Olivia did a victory dance in front of him. As she grew more comfortable around her now a diminutive teacher. He knew it was from that game, Fortnite, but he didn’t know the name.
Mr. Harrison’s stomach sank as he watched his now giant teenage student dance in front of him, gloating over his unfortunate situation. He wasn’t even sure how exactly this happened. However, seeing his giant student dancing in front of him made him believe that the mystery was going to be left unsolved.
Olivia dropped her bookbag onto the floor as she pulled Mr. Harrison’s chair back before sitting down at his desk. The creak of the chair settling sounded disturbingly loud as he saw how even seated Olivia’s hulking frame overshadowed his minute form.
