Olivia stood up with Mr. Harrison still dangling in front of her voice. It was somehow still so impossible to see her teacher in this state. He was never the tallest person. He was taller than her but he wasn’t a mountain of a man or anything.
Mr. Harrison felt sick as he dangled above her shoe. Even with the shoe having been off her foot for a few minutes he could still feel the warm, stale air rising out of the mouth of the shoe.
Olivia had Mr. Harrison in one hand and her shoe in the other as she took a couple of steps away from the desk before bending down and placing Mr. Harrison on the floor. He instantly tried to run for freedom. It was a pitiful attempt from her vantage point. She watched him run as fast as he could, but it was like watching a bug scurry.
Olivia had waited several seconds but it felt like minutes to her. She took her free hand and knocked Mr. Harrison over with her finger. She watched him tumble to the cold tile floor. He got up much quicker than she thought he would be able to. It genuinely surprised her. He took off and ran several yards before she simply placed her hand down in front of him.
Mr. Harrison quickly turned and ran towards the door when she moved her hand and once again blocked his path. This process continued for a couple of minutes before he doubled over with his hands on his knees. She could hear the tiny man trying desperately to catch his breath. She knew his plight was futile yet he struggled anyway.
She took her finger and knocked him over once again before standing up. Mr. Harrison started to try to stand up again. He just knew if he could just get a little bit further away. If he could go on for another minute or two. He would be able to get away from his giant student. He couldn’t wrap his head around the pointless nature of his plight. From his perspective, he was in a life-and-death struggle.
When he saw Olivia stand up fully while he tried to stand back up he couldn’t believe how tall she looked. Mr. Harrison couldn’t even see all of her. He was staring at her in segments until her body seemingly vanished from his view.
When Olivia lifted her foot up into the air Mr. Harrison could feel the suction of air swirling and tugging him up along with her foot. He could tell that if she had lifted her foot up quicker and further he would surely go up with it. As Olivia’s foot hung in the air Mr. Harrison picked himself back up. Fear coursed through his body as if it were blood as he found himself running. He wasn’t even running toward the door anymore he was just running as fast as his legs could go.
Olivia’s brought her foot down allowing it to slam against the tiled floor which sounded like a thunderclap rolling across the filed floor. The sound forced Mr. Harrison to cover his ears while a rush of air shot out from her foot in all directions. The force knocked him to the ground where he lay on the tiled floor stunned while he gasped for air.
“I-I give, I give. Mercy, please,” pleaded Mr. Harrison as laid flat on his back unable to fathom how it all had come to this.
Olivia stared down trying to fully wrap her mind around the notion that this tiny thing on the ground was truly her history teacher. It seemed like something out of the fantasy realm in every sense. Oliva knew her foot wasn’t that big. So to see what was her history teacher lying on the ground winded and stunned was something shocking. A simple stomp of her foot had broken his spirit to run any further.
“Sshhhhh, don’t move Mr. Harrison. Just want to see if you’re just like any other little or if you have a human body.” Olivia said as Mr. Harrison was confused. She spoke as if Littles weren’t people. He was clueless as to what kind of test she could possibly run. The tiled floor was cold and he was visibly shaking from the cold as hoped her test was short and quick.
