“There’s my whitto man.” Sara said as Jordan was lifted out of Sara’s purse and he was set down in her other hand. Jordan could feel a bit of fury rise in him. He wanted to snap at her for not instantly taking him out of her purse. He didn’t like riding in her purse as he couldn’t get past feeling like a possession when he was inside her purse. However, as soon as he was set down in her hand, she started petting him with her fingers. As her finger moved down towards the small of his back, he could feel the tension releasing in his body as it relaxed to Sara’s gentle touch releasing dopamine throughout his body. Jordan could feel the anger and tensions dissipate becoming non-existent as his body melted into Sara’s hand. It wasn’t until she stopped that he found himself able to control and move his body on his own.
“Here’s your treat for being so good on the way in. It was very brave of you to ride in my purse.” Sara said encouragingly.
“I wasn’t scared,” Jordan said defensively as Sara handed him a small cup. Jordan looked curiously at the cup. The cup was neither hot nor cold. It had a thick heavy cream on top as he swished the cup around the cream dissolved into the liquid. As he took a small sip it was sweet with a hint of coffee taste to it. Jordan found it difficult to place what exactly the drink was as it didn’t seem like traditional coffee. It was some other kind of concoction with a slight coffee taste to it. The drink itself as much as Jordan hated to admit it was quite good as it swished by his taste buds.
“It’s made for underbreds. So, it should be pleasing to your palette.” Sara said as Jordan continued to drink what Sara called a littlecino. He wanted to be upset about the ordeal but found it difficult.
“Pleasing to your palate. Really? You sound like you’re at one of those stuffy parties Chloe drags us too sometimes.” Ellie teased, “But, he looks so happy considering how fearful he is of your purse.” Ellie commented as she leaned against the locker. “How come I never see you get one of those things for Gavin Mal?” Ellie asked, pointing at Jordan’s drink.
“I didn’t know it was a thing. It’s not on the menu.” Mallory said as she took Gavin out of her bag.
“It’s a secret menu item. Like the pup cups at Starbucks.” Sara added before taking a drink of her own coffee.
“I should probably check Kelli in at the office.” Kayla said, “Thanks for meeting up with me, Sara. It was nice meeting you, Mallory, and Ellie.” Kayla said as she started walking away.
“Are you coming back, or are you just meeting us in English?” Sara said as Kayla paused, a bit taken aback by the question. She expected to be ignored and thrust back into obscurity.
“I don’t know how long this will take. I’ll just see you in class.” Kayla said before disappearing around the corner
“Okay, so first of all, who is she again, and why didn’t anyone tell me we were adopting minions.” Ellie said, “It’s not fair Sara gets an underbred and a minion before me.” Ellie said with a bit of a jovial pout.
“Ellie, be nice. Kayla is not my minion. She’s super sweet. She just needs a friend. You saw her. She was so happy just to be here.” Sara said as she leaned on Ellie.
“She’ll be loyal if nothing else.” Mallory added before saying, “I guess the least I could do for Kelli is keep her sister from being a total loser. So, I don’t care really if you want her around. Do what you want, but she’s your project, and if it doesn’t work out it’s your mess to clean up Sara.” Mallory said as she set Gavin down on a shelf in Sara’s locker.

1 – Only so much he can say in this situation as in her eyes she did do exactly what she said. As soon as she got to school she took him out when she could.
Although Jordan expected the moment she walked through the doors of the school he was expecting to be taken out the second the exterior door slammed shut.
2 – I’m not sure if i would call it dehumanizing. As minion is a broad term for subdorinate, underling, etc. To me that seems like it might be a slight stretch but i see what you’re saying.
3- As much as anyone else. There are foods made that are intended to be pleasing to a person’s palette that they don’t like. Same for dogs, cats or any other animal. Little’s fall into the same category as everyone else.
