“Ellie, put me back! Sara tell her to stop this and you aren’t my aunt.” Jordan tried to say in as adult of a voice as possible.

It looks like you’ll have to ride with me another time.” Ellie said with a slight bit of dejection in her voice. “Don’t worry though there is always later Jordy or even after school. If not, I will be sure to find you at the party or you can always find me. I’d say don’t take advantage of me, but we all know you’re too good for that.
“Come on Jordy.” Sara said as she reached her hand out. Even though Sara said she wasn’t mad he couldn’t help but feel the undertone in her voice. She was definitely mad. Jordan thought as he stepped off Ellie’s shoulder and back onto Sara’s hand. He couldn’t blame her for being mad as if roles were reversed, he would probably be upset. “Don’t let her get to you. She wishes you would take advantage of her.”

7. I always cringe when characters praise Sara’s care for him, especially ones who’s bias is as heavily in Sara’s favor as Ellie’s is.

Personally, I think she lost that right a long time ago. Though I agree with your opinions of underage drinking. Jordan does need to be more firm in his “no’s” and Sara should listen more when he says them, and not complain about “tone” when he’s only sounding firm.
I also agree with you about Ellie.
Most minors drink underage. It’s not all that uncommon.
She did let him know her former feelings but she also did make it clear that she didn’t feel that way about him any longer as he is underbred.
Okay I get that it’s common but that doesn’t mean it’s okay it’s still breaking the law even if she is not behind the wheel, underage drinking is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500 and/or jail time up to six months. She could lose her license and that is not including what could happen if she and her friends drink too much.
1 – They feel dizzy and could accidentally step on Jordan or other little at the party
2 – One friend goes home driving while drunk
3 – They could do reckless things that could lead to harm to Jordan, Gavin, and others there.
There are too many things that can and will go wrong if they do this it makes Sara look less responsible or even trustworthy to Jordan and her parents if they find out. I hope that Jordan goes Jiminy Cricket about this idea because he is the only one with any sense of the danger of drinking underage.
I fully agree with you. I don’t think it’s the wisest decision. But I also don’t think Teenagers make the wisest decisions all the time in general. So it’s probably fitting for the age of the characters.
Alot could go wrong, but people of that age don’t always think about what could go wrong.
