Madison’s World Redux: Season Two: Episode Forty

Madison's World Redux Season 2 Episode 40

The quiet of the room was interrupted by the steady thump of footsteps approaching the door. All three littles, Greg, Cindy, and Trina turned their heads toward the sound, their gazes fixed on the towering figure of Evan as she entered Madison’s room. She paused near the nightstand, rummaging through the oversized purse she’d left earlier, her movements unhurried, casual.

Greg and Cindy exchanged a glance, recognizing the small electronic device Evan pulled from her bag. It was her glucose meter, she was diabetic, and they had watched her perform this routine many times before, back when they were parents, when they would offer her snacks or quietly remind her to check her levels if she looked pale. But now, the moment felt different. There was no parental concern here, no authority to guide or remind. They were observers, littles, watching from their enclosure as Evan managed her health with the autonomy they no longer had.

Evan glanced down at the meter, her face impassive as she took her reading. Then, she reached back into her bag, this time retrieving a disposable insulin pen. The sight was familiar, but its significance had changed. Greg and Cindy were no longer participants in this world, they were outsiders, watching someone else’s life unfold, powerless to intervene or even offer support.

As Evan moved toward the trash can next to the habitat, she prepared to discard the pen. Greg’s and Cindy’s eyes followed her every movement, but it was Trina who responded first, slipping effortlessly into the little sit position, her body perfectly still and obedient. She had been Brooklyn’s little for a long time, long enough to know the rules, to understand the nuances of showing proper respect to any guardian in their community. The fluidity of her actions, the ease with which she assumed her position, was a reminder to Greg and Cindy of how far they had yet to go in their training.

Evan’s sharp eyes landed on the three of them. Her smirk was barely concealed as she took in the scene before her: Trina, ever the model little, sitting in perfect form, while Greg and Cindy, visibly less composed, followed her lead. The irony wasn’t lost on Evan. Just days ago, she had stood in this very room under entirely different circumstances. Cindy had been her usual self, confident, dominant, full of advice on how to handle littles and guardianship. Greg had been there too, though quieter, more reserved. They had been her mentors in so many ways, Cindy more teaching her how to train and care for a little, instilling in her the philosophies that Cindy herself had advocated for years. While Greg, more teaching her about life.

Now, those roles had been entirely reversed. Cindy, the woman who had once lectured her on discipline and control, now sat obediently in the little sit position, her eyes downcast in submission. Greg, her silent partner in those lessons, was no longer a quiet authority figure but a powerless little at her feet. The shift in power was almost absurd, almost, because here they were, trapped in the very reality Cindy had once shaped for others.

Evan raised an eyebrow as her smirk deepened, amusement flickering in her eyes as she watched them. “Well, well, well,” she muttered under her breath, her tone dripping with condescension. She glanced at Trina, who was still sitting perfectly still, then shifted her gaze back to Greg and Cindy. “Looks like you two are getting the hang of it. Madison’s done a good job.”

Greg’s muscles tensed at the comment, his fists clenching instinctively before he forced himself to relax. He wanted to respond, to say something, anything to break the tension or assert some semblance of dignity, but he knew better. Evan wasn’t just a guest in Madison’s room anymore. She was one of the guardians, part of the community that had complete control over their lives. Any words he spoke now would only reinforce his position, beneath her, beneath them all.

Cindy remained silent, her body still, but Greg could sense the anger radiating off her. She had always been the strong one, the one who handled everything with confidence and authority. To see her like this, small, powerless, forced into submission, was painful. He could feel her frustration as clearly as his own, but what could they do? There was no escape from this new reality.

Evan’s eyes gleamed with satisfaction as she tossed the used insulin pen into the trash can. She knew exactly what she was doing, relishing the power she held over them, enjoying the reversal of roles that had placed her on top. The young girl who once looked to Cindy and Greg for guidance had now surpassed them in every way that mattered.

“Madison’s parents,” Evan said with a soft chuckle, the words tinged with sarcasm. “Hard to believe, isn’t it?” She let the question hang in the air, her gaze lingering on Cindy for a moment longer, as if daring her to respond.

Greg’s gaze dropped back to the pink carpet beneath him, unable to hold her stare. He had never felt this level of humiliation before, not even when Madison had been at her strictest. There was something about Evan’s smirk, her casual dominance, that made it worse, because this wasn’t a stranger or some dispassionate observer. This was Evan, the girl they had once invited into their home, whose health they had cared for, whose future they had supported.

Now, she was their superior, and they were nothing more than the littles in the habitat.

“I guess,” Evan mused aloud, her voice dripping with mocking amusement, “who better to know the place of a Little than a Little herself?”

She lifted the lid slowly, just enough for their voices to escape, her eyes gleaming with a mix of condescension and satisfaction. The smirk on her lips widened as she took in the situation, clearly relishing the power she held in that moment. Evan’s words hung in the air like a taunt, as if daring them to protest, though she knew they couldn’t, at least, not without consequences.

Both Greg and Cindy knew the time was now. While Evan wasn’t the ideal person she was alone in this moment. She wasn’t a bad kid or anything. She had been friends with Madison for years. While there were other friends along the periphery the core group of friends Madison had her entire life was Krysi, Evan and Brooklyn.

“Eva-“ Greg started to say when he remembered Trina’s lecture and teachings. As much as he didn’t want to remember. As much as he didn’t want to do this. He knew if she was going to ask for Evan’s help he needed to address her properly and show her the respect a little should show her. As otherwise she will merely focus on that as opposed to what he was going ask of her. “Ms. Kingsley,” Greg started to say when Evan held her hand up.

“Greg,” Evan snapped, her voice cutting through the air with a sharp edge, “only Trina should be talking right now.”

She barely glanced his way, as though his presence was more of an inconvenience than anything else. Her attention, cold and expectant, was focused squarely on Trina. “If I want to hear from the service Littles in training,” she added with a smirk, her tone dripping with condescension, “I’ll ask for you.”

Her gaze narrowed, taking in the flawed display before her. She sighed dramatically, shaking her head in disappointment. “Clean that up, Trina,” Evan commanded, her voice thick with disdain. “That was improper training. We expect better from you.”

“Yes, Ms. Evan, of course. I will make sure they understand. I apologize greatly for the offense.” Trina said

“Well, it’s not completely your fault,” Evan remarked, her voice dripping with condescension as she glanced lazily toward Greg and Cindy. Her eyes swept over them with a dismissive smirk, as if they were mere inconveniences. “I guess they’re still newborn Littles. They’ve still got some of that fake Little left in them, you know? Where they think they’re still people.”

Her words hung in the air, and the look she gave them was one of barely concealed superiority, making it clear that in her eyes, they were no longer the parents of her best friend but something far less.

Evan didn’t wait for a response. She shifted, her tone turning sharp and efficient, as though discussing logistics for some grand event. “How’s the training going?” she asked, though it was more of a demand than a genuine question. “I’ll need them ready before track season.”

Without missing a beat, Evan folded her arms, already deep in thought about how they could be used. “If we can rotate four Littles around, we should be able to get full coverage,” she continued, her voice cold and authoritative. “Some of the track meets are going to overlap with Brooklyn and Madison’s dance performances. We’ll need them prepared and able to be outside, no question.”

Evan’s eyes flickered back to Greg and Cindy for just a moment, but there was no warmth or concern in her gaze, just expectation.

“Of course Ms. Evan, as you heard from Greg I had gotten upto properly addressing and explaining their place within the community you all graciously allow us to work and serve within.” Trina said graciously.

“Good,” Evan said with a satisfied smirk, her voice smooth and filled with an air of casual dominance. She didn’t even bother to look up from her phone as she spoke, already focused on her next move. “Then I’ll just update their collars for Mads.”

She pulled out her phone with a swift motion, her fingers dancing across the screen with practiced ease. The act of controlling the collars seemed as simple and routine to her as sending a text message, her tone indicating that this was nothing more than a minor adjustment to her, just another way to ensure their obedience.

Without looking up, Evan’s smirk deepened, fully aware of the power she held over them, knowing exactly what the collars would do if they dared to step out of line. She didn’t need to explain it further; the threat was clear in the air..

“What? How can you.” Cindy said before stopping herself. “I apologize Ms. Kingsley.” Cindy said.

“I expected better from you, Cindy,” Evan said, her voice cutting like a blade wrapped in silk. Her expression was a perfect mix of disappointment and superiority as she eyed Cindy. “Especially since you taught us so much of what we know. I guess that’s why Madison made you service Littles.”

She gave a small, dismissive shrug, as though the decision was perfectly logical, even inevitable. “Krysi, Brooklyn, Madison, and I all share Littles, as Trina already mentioned to you,” Evan continued smoothly, her tone casual, almost as if she were discussing weekend plans. “So, you two were added to our community group.”

With that, she turned her phone around, just long enough for Greg and Cindy to catch a glimpse of the screen. Their names appeared instantly on a list of four Littles, their primary guardian clearly listed as Madison. But what caused their stomachs to drop was the section at the top, under Overseeing Guardians—there, bold as day, were the names Evan, Brooklyn, and Madison.

“And under Junior or Trainee Guardian… well, there’s Krysi,” Evan added with a small, satisfied smile. “She’s not formally trained yet, but Cindy, you’ve worked with her extensively, haven’t you? Along with Madison, Brooklyn, and me, of course.”

Evan’s gaze flickered back to Cindy, clearly reveling in the irony. “It’s really just a formality at this point. Her parents don’t want to pay for the official course, but we both know she’s more than ready.” Evan’s smirk deepened, fully aware of how well Cindy understood just how prepared Krysi was, thanks, in part, to Cindy’s own teaching.

The weight of that reality settled in like a slow, creeping fog.

Cindy wanted to scream. She didn’t know about this. She probably should have. As she remembered random days Madison would come home and just go straight to her room and not want to be bothered. She thought it was just a normal teenage phase. She understood now. She had a little with her. Although she noticed the list isn’t exhaustive as Madison has more friend with littles then just these. She had seen them. But she didn’t fully understand how this works. Maybe they just keep there group small to the four of them because of trust.

“Our goal,” Evan began with a casual, almost dismissive tone, “is to build up a community of, like, ten or fifteen Littles and then get an apartment after high school.” She glanced at Greg and Cindy, her lips curling into a smirk as if she were discussing something trivial, not the complete restructuring of their lives. “But Madison was saying we could just move in here and split the costs. Especially now that you’ve got all those extra bedrooms.”

She tilted her head, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. “McKenzie’ll be taking the master bedroom, of course. Madison would probably just stay in hers, and then I guess Evan and I will choose between McKenzie’s old room and the guest room.” Her gaze lingered on Cindy and Greg, letting the implications settle in. “You guys being service Littles? Perfect.”

Evan let the silence hang for a moment, savoring the weight of her words as she looked down at them. “At that point, you’ll just be two members of our little community,” she continued with a smug grin. “Nothing more, nothing less. And we’ll expect you to answer to Trina from now on, she’s the leader of our Little community.”

She took a step closer, towering over them both, her voice taking on a mockingly sweet tone. “She’s the highest-ranking Little now, and your superior from here on out. I know you know all about hierarchy and obedience, Cindy,” Evan added, her eyes narrowing. “If we aren’t around, you’ll listen to Trina. No questions. And if she reports any issues…” Evan let her voice drop menacingly. “Well, we’ll just have to show you firsthand how much we’ve learned in correcting unwanted Little behavior.”

Her bratty smirk widened as she watched their reactions, clearly enjoying the power she wielded over them.

“You were always good at taking direction, Greg, so this won’t be much different for you.” Evan shifted her gaze to Cindy, her expression smug and self-satisfied. “And Cindy, you taught us all of this. We just perfected it, improved it to fit our ideals… our wants.”

Evan paused, letting the irony of it sink in before continuing. “We never thought you two would literally be a part of our community, but it’s kind of an honor, really. You’ll get to witness firsthand everything we’ve learned from you.” She gave a mockingly thoughtful look, then added, “Forever.”

A beat of silence followed before Evan sighed with exaggerated contentment. “The only way I could be more proud is if I was your direct guardian. But this… this is almost as good.” With that, Evan closed the lid with a smirk, giving a little wave, the kind you’d expect from a runway model, before turning on her heel and strutting out of the room.

Okay so Evan an evil bitch I see the red flags here are so big and long that this can’t possibly be fine with any authority figure for little safety at this point like this could be close to abuse and just threatening a little safety. There no way they can be playing this card without worry of being in trouble in some aspect but of course the laws are going to be on their side

I’m hoping for some silver lining in any of this but it’s so little (pun intended lol) that it’s non existent

noticed they didn’t include kenzie in that community of their. something else that she needs to bring up I think. even if she’s not the primary guardian, she’s a guardian.

granted I’m sure she’s aware of what Madison and her friends are doing, but probably isn’t too thrilled that

A: madison’s having their speech restricted like that
B: her friends are making those decisions even though they aren’t even the registered guardians.

Though I guess Madison and Kenzie have been “texting” about it, but now I’m questioning if that’s really happening. Kenzie’s gonna have to be a parent at somepoint, too, unless she’s too much like greg and if it doesn’t affect her directly, she won’t deal with it lol

idk. I get she doesn’t want owning littles to come between her and madison, but really, she may as well just not be registered as their guardian if she isn’t going to take more of an interest in what happens, especially if she’s wanting her dad to be okay. just seems weird to me

That’s exactly what I’m thinking about like she was criticizing Greg for allowing this behavior and now she close to doing the same thing if she does nothing about the red flag, unhealthy and unnecessary BS (Cindy’s doing I know) but I think she’ll have a discussion with Mads about this hopefully soon

Lol I feel like we need a elapsed time with each post, cause that’ll make how kenzie reacts more reasonable

You could always just position the camera so Maddie’s (or any) clock is visible.

curious what the terms are going to be. I’m hoping the Mistress Wessen isn’t one of them. Kenzie doesn’t seem to have an ego that would make her want littles to speak to her like that, at least I don’t think she does. Stopping back talk, sure I get that, but being addressed like that, especially by her parents? That seems so out of character from what we’ve seen so far

God I hope that means she’s not going to let the community stuff slide or let Madisons friends have more command over Greg and Cindy than she does. at least let there be really, really strict terms in place that are more agreeable for Greg and Cindy. Don’t let me down, Top 30 Guardian Kenzie lmao

I think Evan is the most horrible person we’ve seen so far. Straight sociopath vibes. Even if Cindy helped them with their ideals they clearly went overboard. The fact that she takes joy in their situation and even supports restrictions on their speech is just down right horrible. Out of everything we’ve seen in the Smallara universe this “community” seems to be what happens when people take things too far.

the community is definitely harsh. It’ll be even worse when the other littles in it get to see Cindy and Greg as littles. I see them taking some things out on cindy, either directly with her, or indirectly by pushing greg around.

1) I love how often this series asks “how would [Normal occurrence] be for someone who had shrunk?

2) “it was Trina who responded first, slipping effortlessly into the little sit position, her body perfectly still and obedient.” so no command just immediately doing it because a guardian is close? It’s like a light switch how quickly she went from authority to subservient.

3.1) “Cindy, the woman who had once lectured her on discipline and control, now sat obediently in the little sit position” Just where Cindy thinks her kind should be.
3.2) “Greg, her silent partner in those lessons, was no longer a quiet authority figure but a powerless little at her feet” At Cindy’s feet? or Evan’s?

4) “Looks like you two are getting the hang of it. Madison’s done a good job.” Madison praise, eww.

5) “He could feel her frustration as clearly as his own” Greg has a lot more sympathy for Cindy than I do, his makes sense because she’s his wife, and I think it makes him more likeable.

6) “The young girl who once looked to Cindy and Greg for guidance had now surpassed them in every way that mattered” No, they subseeded her. she was not an active part of their change in position.

7) “who better to know the place of a Little than a Little herself?” I’m surprised that that’s only brought up sparingly. I could see people using the argument that as a little Ciny was “subconsciously trying to ready the spot for herself” before she shrank.

8) “Eva- “Ms. Kingsley,”That would have been so fucking hard for Greg.

9) “only Trina should be talking right now.” These rules keep getting worse and worse.

10) “Clean that up, Trina, That was improper training. We expect better from you.” I kinda like that Trina’s getting told off a bit, but I just know without reading further Trina’s gonna take it out on Greg.

11) “They’ve still got some of that fake Little left in them, you know? Where they think they’re still people.” That sounds like a term Cindy would have come up with.

12) “I’ll need them ready before track season.” Ready for what by then?

13) “their place within the community you all graciously allow us to work and serve within.” Trina brown nosing is not a fun sight.

14) “I expected better from you, Cindy Especially since you taught us so much of what we know.” Well you know what they say, those who can’t do, teach.

15) “Krysi, Brooklyn, Madison, and I all share Littles, as Trina already mentioned to you,”  Krysi’s included? She’s not even had real guardian training.

16) “Cindy understood just how prepared Krysi was, thanks, in part, to Cindy’s own teaching” It’s a little concerning that Cindy’s horrible teachings are a good preparation for Genritech guardian training.

17) “She understood now. She had a little with her” I mean Madison’s a fully trained guardian little sitting for a friend I don’t think that’d be so odd, We know Ellie will be in that boat with Gavin and Jordan at times too.

18) Madison’s friends moving in after high school makes sense (though I wonder how McKenzie’d feel about it), and this guardian community is fascinating.

19) “Evan and I will choose between McKenzie’s old room and the guest room” so let me get this straight, “Evan and Even will choose between McKenzie’s old room and the guest room?”

20.1) “She’s the highest-ranking Little now, and your superior from here on out” yeah Trina was enjoying rubbing that in.
20.2) “I know you know all about hierarchy and obedience, Cindy,” I mean it’s a system she created, of course she knows.

21) “we’ll just have to show you firsthand how much we’ve learned in correcting unwanted Little behavior.”” A threat of the violence Cindy trained them to use.

22) “And Cindy, you taught us all of this. We just perfected it, improved it to fit our ideals… our wants.” Ok, so fuck all the females in this house right now, Human and little (assuming McKenzie isn’t home yet)

23) THis Guardian/little community seems fascinating I kinda want to flash forward to 2030 and see how it looks then, But I’m also pretty sure it would disgust me if I saw that, lol.

12) “I’ll need them ready before track season.” Ready for what by then?

She has track related chores that she offloads onto littles to free up her own time. As if they get caked with dirt and stuff it can ruin traction which leads to slower times. Keeping them clean also extends the life of the shoe so she has to ask her parents less often for new ones so she can maintain a consistent rotation without having to increase cost. Things like track spikes would need to be maintained. Things littles could do while she hangs out with her friends or does whatever

that kinda depends on the tracks they’re running on though. I doubt she’s going to be running on dirt very often and needing the 3/8 inches or longer spikes. Plus when I ran track, I just had a separate pair. Running on the synthetic tracks won’t get as much dirt or debris, if any at all, unless it’s a really, really old track that hasn’t been resurfaced. I could see some chores being making sure the spikes are tightened still or damaged, making sure the laces aren’t frayed or missing an aglet, checking for tears near the toe sections on the outter part of the upper, making sure the spikeplate isn’t damaged, but they probably won’t be able to clean too much dirt off the shoes themselves outside of removing pieces of rubber that are stuck to them. At least that was my experience

now if she did XC or long distance or she does steeplechase, that would be a pain in the ass to maintain lmao

or if she’s using her spikes in long jump\triple jump. cleaning the sand out of her shoes then would be annoying and probably take all day, if not multiple days, to do it by hand

1) Yeah, it adds an element of realism to the world

2) Yeah, kind os like how in Smallara prime Mal, Chloe, Ellie and Sara are a friend group but Mal and Chloe are best friends, Ellie and Sara are best friends, and Chloe and Sara are girlfriends creating different dynamics within the friend group

3.2) Either way Gregs still the lowest of the low.

4) Umm Fuck you!/s Lol

I’d say Sara praise as I can see her improving more than I can see Madison doing so, she also has more instances of Kindness.

6) Just want it to be clear Evan hasn’t actually achieved or earned her superiority.

8) Forced respect doesn’t really count in my opinion.

9) That does actually, lol. I could see Madison being more ok with it as Greg is “her little” compared to Even just wanting to be addressed by the top of the pile when her little isn’t present.

11) And we know Krysi learned it too, she also dislikes fake littles

12) Unfortunately that was my first guess, not too different than Mal having Gavin clean her soccer cleats, still seems cruel and a job the human could do with a tiny fraction of the effort and time it’d take a little.

13) Sad but true.

14) You can do cliches every now and them, as a treat, lol.

15) I could see her doing the physical application of training easily enough, but the theory she’d likely struggle with as Cindy ‘s teachings seem so antithetical to their desired lessons. But it’s also fun to think of Krysi as Maddie’s Nepo tag on.

16) That is true, McKenzie seems closer to what Genritech wants guardians to be like.

17) That makes sense, my point was Madison hiding it seemed weird as “hey mom I’m little sitting for Brooklyn or Evan” doesn’t sound like something Cindy would feel the need to stop.

18) Living isn’t cheap, (especially not in New York I hear) so She couls let it happen fo the cost offset, but that’s assuming she accepted their communal littles arrangement (which would include her little).

20.1) I could see that power going to anyone’s head. With how quickly she knelt before Evan I can see why she wanted them on their knees before her.

20.2) Not currently, I’d imagine she quite enjoyed where she sat on Tuesday, even is she didn’t know about it.

21) I mean, who hasn’t fantasised about that with their authority figures though?

22) I can see that about the claim of perfecting it but changing it to fit their ideals and wants definitely happened.

23) It does and I like how it’s a unique take on guardianship they have, I’m interested as well as unsettled by it.

12) it really should be very little effort at all for them depending on what surface they run on. I only ever wore mine when event was on the third call and would take them off almost as soon as I got my time. Unless Evan is just super irresponsible with her spikes or runs on dirt, which I doubt she is given she lives in the city, it’ll be a lot easier than soccer cleats
