Smallara Bonus: Beach Getaway Day (Weekend)

Smallara Beach Day

June 13th 2021 6am est.

Sara yawned as the alarm on her phone erupted waking her from a slumber. She reached for her phone turning off the alarm before peering into the habitat she had made for Jordan. She could see him stirring from his bed as he sleepily looked about. Sara pulled herself out of bed before bending down slightly to talk to Jordan. Even still half a sleep she had grown used to lowering her voice for Jordan to the point she did subconsciously.

“I’ll grab your travel outfit Jordy.” Sara said as she walked over to the closet. Lining one long wall of her closet was all her her clothes that needed to be hung organized by season, then type, then color. Above the hanger was a shelf that ran along the entire wall that was filled with a variety items Sara was storing. The wall across was wooden shelving unit that ran along the length of the wall that was about three to four feet tall made up of shoe sized cubby holes. Above the shoes were shorts and t-shirts that were hung up neatly. Sitting on top of shoe rack shelf were a few shoes boxes with labels like pants, shorts, shirts, collared shirts, etc. Sara rummaged through through the boxes that were neatly packed and organized with the clothes kept in small ziplock bags.

Sara pulled together three or four ziplock bags pulling together a casual relaxed outfit for Jordan before walking out of the closet and heading back to Jordan’s habitat. Sara gently lifted the lid dropping a pair of black shoes with with white stripes on the side along with some sweatpants black sweatpants with two parallel white trips on the side of each pant leg. A few seconds later she dropped a red and black hoodie into the habitat.

“Don’t put the hood up. Instead put this knit beanie on.” Sara added “ Make sure the hoodie hangs loosely. It needs to lay right to give you the proper look.” Sara said with a smile.

“Got it Sara.” Jordan said sleepily picking up the clothes. It seemed like a lifetime ago that he had to worry about picking out his own clothes. This fall would mark a year of Sara picking out his clothes. It felt like another lifetime ago that he picked out his own clothes. He had never given much thought to it just tossed things together and went on about his day. However with Sara that kind of thoughtlessness about clothes is not possible. Every outfit she is curating a look and style. Now Jordan just had to put on what was chosen as she was basically his stylist.

“Your new blonde hair looks so good Jordy.” Sara cooed. “When you put the beanie on make sure some of the hair is coming out the front.” Sara added as Jordan remembered the whole production of Ellie and Sara dying his hair. They don’t make little hair dye which Sara texted chloe and her parents about. So Sara and Ellie had to improvise using hair dye meant for people from the store. While it wasn’t the worst experience in the world it took a high degree of patience and a lot waiting around for things to happen. Having not ever dyed his hair before Jordan quickly became restless compared to Sara and Ellie who were more used to the process.

“How long is this supposed to stay like this?” Jordan asked having never seen his hair so blonde before. It was a much brighter blonde then he was used too.

“Well everyone’s hair is different. It can last a couple months on a person. Not sure on a little but Chloe was saying your hair isn’t any different then ours so it should be similar timeframe.” Sara said before walking back towards her closet. “I’m just gonna get changed Jordy.” Sara said

Jordan looked down at the casualness of the clothes. It felt like Christmas as Sara didn’t allow him to wear sweatpants very often and the hoodie was quite loose. The whole outfit was a treat. Being able to dress so casually was a welcomed change of pace.

Jordan got dressed well before Sara. So Jordan took the liberty to use the time to take several large drinks of water. Jordan then walked over to the minifridge Sara had added to his habitat and pulled out some left over burrito and a few little pellets. He sighed as he looked down at the little pellets. He still didn’t enjoy them but he and Sara had a talk a few months ago. She had noticed him losing muscle and weight despite her dieting efforts.

After a long visit with Steph’s mom and Lisa it was determined that he would need to eat little pellets in the morning. Well Dr. Wilson, Steph’s mom had said one meal a day but after talking with Sara she suggested breakfast as they normally ate breakfast as a family or just the two of them. Which would then allow for him to eat the curated portions off of Sara’s plate for lunch and dinner which were normally done with people. She told him that way when he was around other people he wouldn’t have to feel less than as he could eat normal food.

Jordan appreciated the thoughtfulness behind Sara’s planning for coming up with a decent solution to a situation he didn’t like. Even if he didn’t like little pellets he understood like every other little it was impossible to live without them for an extended period of time. He had just a few little pellets left when the iPhone in his habitat started ringing. Jordan took another bite of little pellet before walking over the phone and pressing the accept button.

“JORDAAAYYYY!” Allison his sister said excitedly “How’s it going little bro.”

“Allison! I told you I’m not your little brother.” Jordan argued back.

“You’re a little and my brother. Hence little bro is factually accurate depiction our relationship” Allison argued

“Fine, whatever.” Jordan grumbled not able to come up with a logical argument to refute the logic she was using. “I thought I told you this was for a emergencies. My stance hasn’t changed.”

“Well you accepted the call not me. Besides mom and dad are still sleeping downstairs. You don’t even have to talk to them. As your sister though I’m not just going to allow you to push me out because you don’t agree with me and taking in mom and dad.”

“I’ve accepted that. I always knew your annoyance knows no bound. It is eternal. I knew I could only keep you at bay for so long. You even weaseled your way into Sara’s life.” Jordan said.

“Sara is hilarious we talk practically every day we have a chat thread going for months now. She’s been good for you. I mean you’ve been allergic to fashion forever so her forcing you to look presentable to the human race is a big step.”

“I’ve always looked presentable to the human race.” Jordan argued back.

“The photos say otherwise. You look more human as a little then you ever dad as person.” Allison teased.

“Does this annoyance have a purpose or is this just a courtesy you are extending today?” Jordan said as he sat down tying his shoes while Sara got ready.

“Jordy you wound me. Does a loving sister need a reason to call her little bro? As your big sister and as a registered guardian I am just doing my duty and checking in after your little fall yesterday.” Allison said unable to contain her laughter.

“I knew that was your doing. Ellie would never set me up like that” Jordan said crossing his arms.
“Through the beauty of a strategically placed phone zoomed in on you we can live and relive this moment again and again.” Allison said sharing the video onscreen interrupting momentarily their video chat.

Jordan groaned, his cheeks flush with embarrassment. “That is never going to get old is it?”

“Never,” Allison agreed with another giggle. “But seriously, you had that health scare. Have you been eating your pellets? Sara says you have, but I know how stubborn you can be.”

“I’m eating them. I just finished my morning pellet allotment.” Jordy said.

“And you didn’t eat any people food with it?” Allison said suspiciously.

“What’s that Sara? Oh, sorry Allison Sara’s calling and I’m starting to lose you anyway.” Jordan said.

“It’s a video call I know Sara’s not“ Allison said before Jordan ended the call.

Jordan slouched down in his chair thankful that was over. A second later he heard a several successive beeps on Sara’s phone which was lying on the bed. Jordan immediately stomped his foot lightly in annoyance.

“That brat told on me. Even thousands of miles away she still finds a way.” Jordan said looking over at Sara’s phone. She never kept her phone in little mode so even if he could get to it. He’d never be able to delete the messages. Besides she’d find out anyway. Sara’s to smart for that and even if he did somehow get away with it Allison would surely bring it up again.

Okay, Jordy, here’s your little suitcase. Let’s go,” Sara said, her eyes twinkling with a hint of mischief as she lowered her hand toward him. Nestled in her palm was a perfectly crafted miniature suitcase, its tiny handle gleaming under the soft morning light. Jordan climbed onto her warm hand, the familiar texture bringing a sense of comfort, and eyed the suitcase curiously.

“I packed your toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash—all your essentials,” Sara continued as she lifted him gently. “I also included a few outfits appropriate for the weather where we’re headed.”

He raised an eyebrow, perplexed. “I thought we were going to the pool. Do we really need all this?” he asked, glancing back at the tiny suitcase.

She chuckled softly, a playful smile spreading across her face. “We were never going to the pool—that’s what the wink was for.”

“What wink? There was no wink!” Jordan protested, confusion evident in his tone. “What does that even mean?”

As he looked up at her, he noticed Sara was dressed unusually casually in sweatpants, a hoodie, and slip-on shoes. Her auburn hair fell naturally over her shoulders, and she hadn’t applied her usual touch of makeup—a rarity for her. They exited her room and made their way down the hall, the soft carpet muffling their footsteps.

“Where are we going?” Jordan asked again, a hint of impatience creeping into his voice. Sara merely smiled, setting him and his suitcase down on her shoulder. “Shh,” she whispered, placing a finger over her lips as they descended the staircase.

Outside, the crisp morning air greeted them. Parked at the end of the driveway was a sleek black SUV with darkened windows, its engine humming quietly. As they approached, the door swung open smoothly, revealing Chloe seated comfortably in the backseat.

“Hey, you two!” Chloe greeted with a warm smile. Sara climbed in, settling into the plush leather seat. Mr. Gracewood, Chloe’s father, appeared, taking Sara’s luggage and Jordan’s tiny suitcase. He placed them carefully in the back before closing the door with a reassuring nod.

“Why did he take my luggage? Couldn’t it have fit in your pocket?” Jordan whispered into Sara’s ear, his brow furrowed.

“Jordy, don’t be silly. All the luggage goes in the back,” she replied lightly.

“It’s good to see you again,” came a kind voice. Jordan turned to see Mrs. Gracewood smiling warmly at him.

“Oh, hi, Mrs. Gracewood,” he said, surprised to see Chloe’s parents joining them.

“We’re so glad you could join us today,” she said, her eyes crinkling at the corners. Turning to Sara, she added, “You did talk to your parents, right?”

“Of course, Mrs. G. I think they were happy to get me out of the house,” Sara replied with a light laugh.

“Well, good! I’m so happy you could come. You have no idea. You two are such a cute couple.”

“Mom!” Chloe exclaimed, her cheeks flushing ever so slightly.

“What? You two are a cute couple,” her mother insisted, unabashed. “I was thrilled when I heard you had gotten together. You were already like family, so this all feels so natural.”

“Yeah, we’ll have to take you to an Islanders game,” Mr. Gracewood chimed in enthusiastically. “We have a box—it’s a pretty good time, even if you’re not a huge hockey fan.”

Chloe sighed, leaning back into her seat. “This is why I wanted to take two vehicles. We could have just had Steven drop us off like normal.”

“We’re all going to the same place, Chloe,” her father replied gently. “It seems wasteful to take separate cars. Besides, it’s nice to do things like this as a family. You too, Jordy—you’re part of this now. You’re Sara’s Little, which makes you family as far as we’re concerned. We’re looking forward to getting to know you better.”

Jordan felt a warm flush of gratitude. “Oh, me too, Mr. Gracewood. Thank you for letting me use the boat in the pool when I’ve been over.”

“Oh yeah, the little yacht,” Mr. Gracewood said with a chuckle. “Consider it yours whenever you’re over.”

Jordan’s eyes lit up with excitement. “Oh my gosh, did you hear that, Sara? Chloe’s dad gave me a yacht! I’m a real captain now!”

Sara laughed softly, her eyes shining. “Thank you, Mr. G. Jordy loves boats.”

As the SUV merged onto the highway, Jordan gazed out the window, marveling at how everything seemed so vast from his perspective. The cityscape blurred past—a mosaic of towering buildings and bustling streets. When they arrived at the airport, the sheer scale of it all was almost overwhelming. The roar of jet engines, the echoing announcements, the throngs of travelers—it was a whirlwind of sights and sounds.

“It’s okay, Jordan. Flying isn’t any different,” Chloe said reassuringly, noticing the apprehension on his face.

“Right… it just feels different,” he admitted, clutching his suitcase with one hand and holding onto Sara with the other.

As they navigated through the terminal, the crowd of giant figures moving around them made Jordan feel even smaller. The cacophony of conversations and footsteps blended into a constant hum. Sara, sensing his unease, gently lifted him from her shoulder and cradled him in her hand.

“Better?” she asked softly.

He nodded, the closeness providing a comforting shield against the overwhelming environment. “Hey, Sara, the check-in point is right there,” he pointed out, noticing the long line of passengers. “I think you’re walking past it.”

She gave him a knowing smile. “We’re with Chloe. We don’t do that.”

They bypassed the standard security lines, Mr. Gracewood exchanging brief words with an attendant who promptly guided them through a private entrance. They entered an exclusive lounge area, its quiet elegance a stark contrast to the bustling terminal. Soft lighting, plush seating, and a serene atmosphere enveloped them.

Descending a private staircase, they stepped directly onto the tarmac. In the distance, a sleek private jet bore the Gracewood name emblazoned in elegant lettering.

“Chloe has a jet?” Jordan whispered in awe.

“Oh, no. This isn’t Chloe’s jet. Hers is a bit smaller,” Mr. Gracewood said as he greeted the pilot with a friendly handshake.

“Chloe has her own jet and it’s not this jet?” Jordan repeated, his mind boggled.

Chloe shrugged modestly. “It’s not a big deal, Jordan. I just inherited the old jet. I still need permission to travel.”

He shook his head in disbelief. “What was wrong with the old jet that you were like, ‘Let’s upgrade to this new jet’ and keep the old one?”

“Well, Generitech was purchasing a new plane since we’ve expanded our overseas investments,” Chloe explained casually. “Being able to travel internationally more efficiently was important. My family bought the plane, and I’ve been taking flying lessons to log hours for my private pilot’s license when I turn seventeen. That’s why I’m not around as much on weekends.”

As they boarded the jet, Sara held Jordan securely. The interior was luxurious—sleek leather seats, polished wood accents, and ambient lighting that created a calming ambiance. The faint scent of fresh linen and leather filled the air. Once the plane taxied onto the runway and ascended smoothly into the sky, Sara settled into her seat, placing Jordan comfortably on her lap.

“I’m going to take a nap, Jordy. It’s still early,” she murmured, reclining her chair. “Chloe, normal operating procedures.”

Jordan glanced over at Chloe, puzzled. “Normal operating procedures?”

Chloe smiled softly. “Sara always naps when we travel, so I wake her up when we get there. Feel free to relax, Jordy. You’re with family. If you need anything, just let me know.”

He nodded appreciatively. Standing up on Sara’s lap, he looked around the cabin. The spaciousness was a far cry from the cramped commercial flights he remembered. He noticed Sara’s earbuds nestled in her ears, though he couldn’t tell if music was playing.

“Hello, Mr. Reeves,” came a friendly voice from behind. Turning, he saw a flight attendant approaching—a tall woman with warm brown eyes and a kind smile. Her brunette hair was neatly pinned back, and she wore a crisp Generitech uniform.

“Can I get you a Littlecino, Little soda, or perhaps some juice?” she offered.

Jordan blinked, momentarily surprised to be addressed so formally. “A Little soda sounds interesting,” he replied. “What are the food options?”

“For Littles, we have several kinds of pellets. The sour cream and onion flavor is quite popular,” she said with a gentle smile.

He made a face. “No thank you. Sara hasn’t eaten yet—she likes her eggs sunny-side up and a short stack of pancakes, but she’s sleeping, so she gave up her voting rights,” he said with a playful wink. “So we’ll pivot to having our eggs scrambled, with a blueberry muffin and four strips of bacon. Sara prefers orange juice, but since she’s sleeping, let’s go with apple juice, please.”

“Not a problem, Mr. Reeves,” the flight attendant replied smoothly.

“Oh, you can call me Jordy,” he added, leaning back against the soft fabric of Sara’s hoodie. “Thank you for taking my order. I know most wouldn’t.”

She smiled warmly. “I’m Jodie. And just because you’re a Little doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to be treated with respect. If you need anything else, please let me know. Here’s a tablet with some movies preloaded that Ms. Chloe thought you might enjoy.”

As she handed him the device, Chloe interjected, “Jodie, really, you can just call me Chloe.”

Jodie nodded appreciatively. “Right. I just really appreciate you giving me this opportunity, Chloe. I won’t let you down. You don’t know how much this helps my family.” She gave a small bow before moving to take Chloe’s order and then headed toward the galley.

“She seems nice. What are you doing for her family?” Jordan asked, raising his voice slightly to carry across to Chloe, who had shifted to the aisle seat.

Chloe glanced up from her book. “Oh, it’s nothing much. We’re just paying her a fair wage for the work she does and helped her family with some medicine for her mother. It’s needlessly expensive. That’s why Generitech Pharmacy sells medicine at cost, but unfortunately, we don’t have patents for every medical breakthrough. Some companies like PreemaTech gouge consumers for life-saving medicine.”

“I’d heard about that before I caught Smallara,” Jordan mused. “I didn’t believe it when I read it. I never thought a company would do something selflessly.”

Chloe offered a modest smile. “Well, we do operate for profit in other areas. We make a lot of money from Littles and Little products, but we try to help as many people as we can. We believe in not holding people’s health hostage.”

Just then, Jodie returned with their orders. “Jordy, watch yourself. I’m just going to put this tray down to set the food on,” she said kindly.

“Got it,” he replied, climbing up Sara’s hoodie until he was perched comfortably. Jodie folded down the tray, setting a beautifully arranged plate of food exactly as he had ordered. “Here’s a Little plate made up for you,” she added, handing him a perfectly sized dish along with a miniature glass of apple juice.

“Whoa, it’s my size!” Jordan exclaimed, eyes wide with delight. “Sara said this stuff is expensive. You didn’t need to do all that for me. I could have just nibbled off Sara’s plate.”

“Chloe arranged a set just for you,” Jodie explained. “We also have sets being sent to each of your homes in case you visit. I oversaw the shipping myself.”

He looked over at Chloe, touched. “Thank you,” he said sincerely.

She waved it off lightly. “It’s no big deal.”

As Jodie moved on to serve Chloe and her parents, the enticing aroma of bacon wafted up, stirring Sara from her sleep. She blinked groggily, her eyes focusing on Jordan, who was happily munching away.

“Where did you get all this food, Jordy?” she asked, her voice thick with sleep.

“Jodie came by. You hadn’t eaten yet since you were busy getting me ready, so I ordered for you,” he explained, taking another bite of bacon. “Oh, bacon, I’d forgotten how good you taste.”

She smiled fondly. “I appreciate that. Thank you, Jordy. Also, we had bacon last week—don’t act like I never give you bacon.” She raised an eyebrow playfully. “And why are you sitting on my… well, there?”

He glanced down, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. “I had to move up because of the tray. And that bacon was a whole week ago. This is now bacon. You can’t compare now bacon to then bacon. Now bacon is always better.”

Chloe laughed softly from across the aisle. “He’s got you there. Bacon in hand is always better than already-had bacon.”

Sara shook her head, chuckling. “I notice these are all your favorite foods, Jordy,” she remarked, picking up the blueberry muffin.

He shrugged innocently. “I thought it would be fun if you were eating off my plate for a change.”

She laughed, reaching out to gently tousle his hair. “You’re so silly. It does look good, though. I’d eat off your plate anytime, little man.”

As they enjoyed their meal, Mr. Gracewood looked over with a satisfied smile. “You two seem really close,” he observed.

Sara nodded thoughtfully. “I’ve had Jordy for almost a year now—just a few months shy. We’ve had our disagreements, but we’ve worked through them, especially with a bit of help from Chloe.”

“We’ve noticed the impact you and Jordan have had on Chloe,” Mrs. Gracewood added. “Since you started dating and after you got Jordy, she’s been much more involved in the Little side of the business.”

“Dad, please,” Chloe interjected, a hint of embarrassment coloring her tone.

“If I can’t praise my little Loey…” Mr. Gracewood teased gently.

“Dad!” Chloe protested, her cheeks flushing.

“Stop embarrassing her, sweetheart,” Mrs. Gracewood said, patting her husband’s arm affectionately.

Jordan grinned, deciding to play along. “I’m just enjoying my bacon,” he said innocently, eliciting a laugh from everyone.

After finishing his second breakfast, Jordan felt a contented drowsiness settle over him. He climbed down from Sara and nestled into the cozy pouch of her hoodie. The soft fabric enveloped him like a warm hug, and the gentle rise and fall of her breathing was soothing. The ambient hum of the plane’s engines provided a lullaby of sorts, and it wasn’t long before he drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

Jordan awoke to the soft thud of a car door closing, the sound resonating through the fabric of Sara’s hoodie pocket where he had been comfortably nestled. The gentle sway of the vehicle indicated they were on the move again. He pushed aside the warm folds of the hoodie and emerged into the muted light of the car’s interior.

Blinking sleep from his eyes, Jordan looked around in confusion. The scent of sea air mingled with the familiar fragrance of Sara’s vanilla perfume, creating a soothing yet unfamiliar ambiance. “Where are we?” he asked, his voice tinged with groggy bewilderment as he gazed out the window at the swaying palm trees and vibrant bougainvillea cascading over stucco walls.

Chloe turned to him with a casual smile, her emerald eyes sparkling with mischief. “Oh, we landed in Cancun,” she said nonchalantly, as if they had merely driven to the next town over.

“What?” Jordan exclaimed, his eyes widening in disbelief. “I was told we were going to a hotel with a pool!”

Chloe chuckled softly. “Well, the hotel does have a pool,” she pointed out, her tone teasing. “Sorry, Jordy, but your mouth is notoriously loose. It’s supposed to be a fun getaway without everyone knowing, so I asked Sara to keep the details minimal until we got here.”

He ran a hand through his tousled blonde hair, trying to process the information. “I’ve never left the country before,” he murmured, a mix of excitement and anxiety bubbling up inside him. “I don’t even have a passport.”

“You’re a rider on my passport,” Sara interjected, her green eyes warm and reassuring. She reached into her bag and pulled out a navy-blue passport, flipping it open to reveal a special section labeled ‘Little Companion.’ Turning the page, she showed him the tiny passport data displaying his name, guardian, address, and emergency contact.

Jordan leaned in to scrutinize the miniature document. “Why is Ellie my emergency contact?” he asked, raising an eyebrow. “I mean, I guess that makes sense. She is surprisingly resourceful. But why does it look like I’m passed out in this photo?”

Sara laughed, a light, melodious sound that eased his tension. “Well, the passport photo requirements specify a white background. So I laid a tissue down in your habitat and took a picture with my phone while you were sleeping. The fact that you have this weird habit of sleeping with your eyes open was actually quite useful.”

He gave her an indignant look. “I don’t sleep with my eyes open,” he protested.

“You do when you’re really tired,” Sara teased, a playful glint in her eye. “It’s a little creepy, honestly—no one knows if you’re awake or asleep.”

Jordan crossed his arms, a mock frown creasing his forehead. “Well, that’s not unsettling at all.”

She reached over and gently ruffled his hair with her fingertip. “Does it really matter?” she asked softly. “We’re in Cancun for the weekend, Jordy. We’re going to hit the beach and indulge in some serious rest and relaxation.”

At the mention of the beach, his eyes lit up despite himself. The allure of turquoise waters and white sandy shores began to override his initial surprise. “Since we’re on vacation,” Sara continued with a wink, “you can even have some soda, in moderation.”

He grinned up at her. “Now you’re talking.”

As the car cruised along the coastal road, sunlight flickered through the canopy of palm leaves, casting dappled patterns inside the vehicle. Sara glanced over at Chloe, who was gazing out the window, the wind gently tousling her blonde hair. Gathering her courage, Sara reached out and gently took Chloe’s hand, giving it a tender squeeze.

Chloe turned to meet her gaze, her cheeks flushing ever so slightly. Sara’s heart pounded almost uncontrollably, each beat echoing the words she longed to say. The tropical air seemed to shimmer with unspoken emotions. She wanted to tell Chloe how she felt—that her feelings had blossomed into something profound and beautiful.

But a quick glance toward the front of the car reminded her of Chloe’s parents sitting just ahead, engaged in light conversation. Now wasn’t the time or place. Instead, Sara smiled softly, allowing the simple joy of holding Chloe’s hand to suffice for the moment.

This was a time to savor, a vacation with her girlfriend and Jordan, a chance to create cherished memories together. The adventures that awaited them, the sun-soaked beaches, the rhythmic waves, the vibrant local culture, were all the more special because they would experience them side by side.

“Ready for some fun in the sun?” Chloe asked, her eyes reflecting the azure of the sea.

“Absolutely,” Sara replied, her smile mirroring Chloe’s enthusiasm.

Jordan looked between them, a contented grin spreading across his face. “As long as I get to captain another yacht,” he quipped.

They all laughed, the sound blending harmoniously with the distant crash of waves and the calls of exotic birds. The horizon stretched out before them, promising a weekend of relaxation, adventure, and the deepening of bonds both old and new.

As the car pulled up to a luxurious beachfront resort, Jordan felt a surge of excitement. He might not have anticipated this journey, but surrounded by people who cared for him, he was ready to embrace whatever came next.

0) Damn I’ve missed these three, (yes even Sara)

1) appreciate the time stamp, this is happening between the Dayton Series and the Sunday Funday

2) Loved getting the description of how Sara has her wardrobe set up with Jordan’s things in it.

3) “So Sara and Ellie had to improvise using hair dye meant for people from the store” Not a good idea, smost hair dye burns if applied wrong, and on a little scalp that problem would multiply.

4) I’m glad we got a little more insight into Sara breaking her “don’t have to eat pallets if he doesn’t want to” promise. A healthcare would have likely rattled Sara as she’s so reliant on him. Can’t say I fully forgive it, I’m definitely more OK with it.

5) Surprised our first interaction with Alison is in a bonus chapter, kinda wish we learned more about her though. Loved the interaction though

6) The Little Suitcase is cute but completely pointless. Sara could just put his things in a segment of her purse, and it’d change nothing for her.

7) Casual attire being a special treat for him would fucking suck.

8) Thought that was Ellie in the picture, not Chloe originally, lol

9) Jordy having met Chloe’s family is a nice surprise. And them addressing him directly is a nice thing to see.

10) “You too, Jordy—you’re part of this now. You’re Sara’s Little, which makes you family as far as we’re concerned” Well now ain’t that just fucking sweet.

11) “Chloe’s dad gave me a yacht! I’m a real captain now!” Jordan liking boats in a hilarious characteristic, I’m glad he pseudo-has one now.

12) “The roar of jet engines, the echoing announcements, the throngs of travellers—it was a whirlwind of sights and sounds.” and a long list of things that could deafen Jordan.

13) “Flying isn’t any different,” I’d have thought the change in cabin pressure would be a threat to littles, I guess not though.

14) “He nodded, the closeness providing a comforting shield against the overwhelming environment” It’s good to see her manage his needs without him needing to voice them, it shows how she’s definitely gotten better the more time she’s spent with him.

15) “Chloe has a jet?” Did you think she didn’t? GenriSky or Genriflight or Genrisomething probably fucking makes Jets.

16) “It’s not a big deal, Jordan” Man she’s out of touch.

17) Chloe is getting a pilot’s licence? she just keeps getting cooler.

18) “Sara always naps when we travel” so this is the first time Jordan’s travelled with her then?

19) “Littlecino, Little soda, or perhaps some juice?” more little drinks, good to see.

20) “But she’s sleeping, so she gave up her voting rights,” That’s so good to see, he’s clearly getting more comfortable around her based on the difference in his behaviour from the main story to now.

21) “Oh, you can call me Jordy,” So he’s definitely accepted the nickname then.

22) “Just because you’re a Little doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to be treated with respect” That’s the GenriTech I like to see.

23) “Here’s a tablet with some movies preloaded that Ms. Chloe thought you might enjoy.” Love when Chloe looks out for Jordy.

24) “Some companies like PreemaTech gouge consumers for life-saving medicine.” Preema Tech slander is always welcome.

25) “We make a lot of money from Littles and Little products, but we try to help as many people as we can. We believe in not holding people’s health hostage.” Just their reduced loved ones get to be hostages then?

26.1) “handing him a perfectly sized dish along with a miniature glass of apple juice.” Finally the Main mini man himself got some little dishware!! (I may have a problem)
26.2)And Chloe looking out for him further with these gifts is perfect.

27) ““I appreciate that. Thank you, Jordy” Good to see her showing gratitude to him.
27.2) “And why are you sitting on my… well, there?” where was he sitting?

28.1) “This is now bacon. You can’t compare now bacon to then bacon. Now bacon is always better.” He’s right and everyone knows it.
28.2) “He’s got you there. Bacon in hand is always better than already-had bacon.” Chloe’s got his back!

29.1) “I thought it would be fun if you were eating off my plate for a change… You’re so silly. It does look good, though. I’d eat off your plate anytime, little man.” This was such a good interaction between them,
29.2) she even added the “L” back to ‘Little Man”

30) “Little Loey” That is such a Dad ni
ckname, lol
(not as good as Sare-Bear though)
31) It’s good to see that the two have grown close, and are effecting those close to them aswell.

32) “He climbed down from Sara and nestled into the cosy pouch of her hoodie” big change to see him seek out a pocket to go into.

33) “You’re a rider on my passport,” Makes sense, he’s a footnote on many other of her documents.

34) “Why is Ellie my emergency contact?” who the fuck else would it have been if not his godguardian? lol

35) Sleeping with his eyes open is cool, I wonder if he did it previously or if it started after his infection.

36) “you can even have some soda, in moderation.” and not even little soda, the good stuff.

37) Sara getting shy about PDA with Chloe was soo fucking cute to see.

38) “waves and the calls of exotic birds” how will they deal with that for Jordan’s safety (and any other predators that calls the beach home)

39) “but surrounded by people who cared for him, he was ready to embrace whatever came next.” He’s come such a long way in just two days shy of nine months.

40) checking in after your little fall yesterday… Ellie would never set me up like that” What happened?

41) “Sara says you have, but I know how stubborn you can be.” Really? He’s like the biggest pushover in the verse.

Really looking forward to when Allison meets everyone. I want just want one miniseries of her and the gang hanging out doing things she normally does just to see everyone struggle cause how well off they are and having never worried about certain things. Like even seeing them go to public school for a visit would be hilarious

Actually it’d be even more funny if they had public school lunch and Chloe, after the visit, donated a shit load of money to Allison’s school lol

Oooh a beach story I like this. I also enjoyed Chloe’s parents actively talking with Jordan and making him feel included.

Allison is freaking funny.

Jordan has definitely become what I imagined he would become, a “court jester” always there to crack a lame joke for the giants to laugh at, he just needs to dress like one.

Wow, there is so much difference between Sara’s stories and Madison’s. Madison’s world is so much like slavery, so repressive and depressing, while Sara and Jordon’s are so much better. The difference is so vast. I really prefer Sara’s and Jordan’s story so much.

If you think thus is better than Madison’s world, you should check out Chrissy or Brothers.
