Chloe inhaled deeply before passing the joint over to Sara. A visible wave of relaxation washed over her as she exhaled, her shoulders easing into the plush couch. This was something she and her friends only really did before parties like this—a little mood enhancer mixed with a stress reliever. It was part of their pre-party ritual. Tonight, it was especially necessary with everything Sara had been going through. Chloe hoped this would help her mellow out, even if just a little. Sara had been so tightly wound these past few weeks, and it pained Chloe to see her like that.
Jordan could do nothing but watch as Sara took a hit, her movements deliberate and smooth. She exhaled slowly before shifting her attention to him, her free hand instinctively moving toward him. He barely had time to react before he felt the familiar, warm press of her fingertips against his back. The first touch was light, more of an absentminded gesture, but as she continued, the pets became more intentional, more soothing.
Sara’s fingers glided over his back with an ease that sent a shiver down his spine. The pads of her fingers pressed down gently, following the curve of his tiny frame. Jordan let out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding as his body instinctively leaned into her touch. As her finger slid down his spine, a slow, deliberate stroke, his muscles loosened, his joints cracking in a way that felt oddly satisfying—like a chiropractor session condensed into a single glide of her finger.
It was heavenly.
His mind fogged slightly as his body betrayed him, responding to every stroke, every press, every calculated scratch at the nape of his neck. He could feel tension melting away, slipping between the cracks of his reluctant pride. Above him, Sara and her friends continued their casual conversation, their voices a distant hum in the background of his bliss. At some point, he heard one of them mention that Mallory was on her way with the rest of their group, but it barely registered.
He was too lost in this.
And that was the problem.
Jordan forced himself to snap back to reality, blinking hard as his body attempted to pull itself out of its pet-induced trance. The relaxation was intoxicating, but there was a part of him—the part that still clung to his past life, that refused to let go entirely. As much as he enjoyed the soothing strokes, as much as they comforted him in ways he couldn’t even articulate, another part of him couldn’t shake the growing sense of unease.
This was something pets enjoyed. Not people.
But wasn’t that exactly what he had become?
He clenched his hands into fists, the dull remnants of relaxation still lingering in his muscles. The conflict inside him gnawed at him like an itch he couldn’t scratch. He wanted to reject the sensation, to tell Sara to stop, to demand she treat him like a person, not a beloved pet.
And yet…
He couldn’t deny how good it felt.
Sara’s fingers traced another slow path down his back, and he nearly melted into her again. His pride fought against it, but his body had already decided for him. He liked this. He needed this. And that truth rattled him more than anything.
Ellie, who had been watching him out of the corner of her eye, smirked. “Look at him,” she teased, nudging Sara lightly. “He’s practically purring.”
Jordan stiffened immediately, his face flushing. “I—what? No, I’m not.”
Ellie leaned in slightly, grinning. “Oh, you totally are. Little man’s gone all soft in Sara’s lap.”
Sara chuckled, her fingers continuing their slow, deliberate rhythm. “Can you blame him? I am pretty good at this.”
Jordan groaned, trying to sit up straighter, but Sara’s fingers effortlessly guided him back down. “I let you do it,” he mumbled, trying to salvage what was left of his dignity.
Chloe, still lounging with a relaxed smirk, finally spoke up. “You know, Jordan, you don’t have to fight it. It’s okay to enjoy things that make you feel good.”
Jordan frowned, shifting slightly. “Yeah, but… isn’t this kinda weird? Like, I used to be—”
“A normal-sized guy?” Chloe finished for him, her tone understanding rather than dismissive. “Yeah. But that’s not what you are now. That doesn’t mean you have to stop being you, but it also doesn’t mean you have to fight everything that’s different about your new life.”
Jordan bit his lip, her words settling uncomfortably in his chest. “It just feels… I don’t know. Like, I shouldn’t need this.”
Sara’s hand stilled for a moment, then resumed its careful strokes. “Jordy, everybody needs comfort. Everyone needs touch, affection. It doesn’t make you less of a person just because you like it.”
Ellie stretched, leaning back into the couch. “Yeah, dude. I let my hairdresser massage my scalp when I get a shampoo, and I live for that shit. Does that make me less of a person?”
Stephanie nodded, laughing. “Oh my god, same. I go feral for a good back scratch.”
Jordan huffed. “That’s… not the same thing.”
Chloe tilted her head. “Isn’t it? I mean, yeah, the dynamic is different because of your size, but at the end of the day, touch is touch. We all need it. I bet if you stop overthinking it, you’ll actually enjoy it a lot more.”
Jordan hesitated, the stubborn part of his brain screaming at him not to give in. But the logical part of him, the part that had been desperately trying to navigate this new life, knew Chloe had a point. Fighting it wouldn’t change his reality. It wouldn’t make him big again. It would only make things harder.
He sighed, forcing himself to relax into Sara’s touch instead of fighting it. “Fine. But if I do purr, nobody better bring it up again.”
Ellie grinned. “No promises. We’re friends now Jordy and I wouldn’t make that promise to anyone here.”
Sara giggled, resuming her gentle strokes. “See? Progress.”
Jordan closed his eyes, letting himself enjoy the moment without guilt. Maybe he could learn to embrace this new life in ways he hadn’t before.
I’ve been wondering how secondhand smoke could affect littles, so this should be interesting.
Also the numbering is off it should be 548.
Littles have been filtering of toxins and such with their lungs so just how the drugs affect them less. Second hand smoke is diminished as well.
Also thanks for the heads up on the numbering
idk what it is, but Chloe seems to have a better way of getting through to Jordan (and i’m betting Kelli when they eventually talk) than any one else. Like it just sinks in so much easier and with less apprehension
Probably because Sara is the official guardian. Kind of like you have that parent who sets the rules. So they get more flack then the other parent. I feel like the same is true here.
Things are recieved better from Chloe because she isn’t setting the rules persay. Sara gets the brunt as she has to deliver the rules even if they are legally mandated
I agree with what Asukafan2001 said, but would also like to add, Chloe has been nothing but kind to Jordan, and sees him as a person, that’d raise her status in his mind.
Sara’s bullying massively hinders Jordan’s ability to poperly trust her, Ellie and Steph aren’t as bad, but still meaner than Sara.
Sara does take care of him, but she’s also the one who victim blamed him for getting attacked, who threw him in her purse the first time he told her ‘no’, broken almost every promise she’s ever made him, etc.
1) “This was something she and her friends only really did before parties like this—a little mood enhancer mixed with a stress reliever. It was part of their pre-party ritual” Seems like this isn’t a common event which is good, this is the kind of thing that could get them to lose guardian licences.
2) “He was too lost in this. And that was the problem” I could see that being something he’d want to avoid.
3.1) “The relaxation was intoxicating, but there was a part of him—the part that still clung to his past life, that refused to let go entirely.” Good to know that part’s still active.
3.2) “This was something pets enjoyed. Not people. But wasn’t that exactly what he had become?” certainly what most of the women in that room think.
4) “Look at him, He’s practically purring.” Exactly the last thing Jordan would want, someone “confirming” that he likes it.
5) “Can you blame him? I am pretty good at this.” Sara-self praise, ew.
6) “I let you do it,” Jordan, that makes it seem more like you enjoy it.
7) “You know, Jordan, you don’t have to fight it. It’s okay to enjoy things that make you feel good.” the problem is it doesn’t just make him feel good, it makes him feel multiple things, many of them variations of feeling bad.
8.1) “A normal-sized guy?” Chloe finished for him, her tone understanding rather than dismissive.” Chloe should be a guardian, and show these other girls how to actually care for a Little.
8.2) “That doesn’t mean you have to stop being you, but it also doesn’t mean you have to fight everything that’s different about your new life.” yes Chloe, but it doesn’t mean he has to blindly exceptt change either, if Sara actually cared about him she’d stop now that it should be clear to them that he doesn’t like it and is trying to resist.
9) “It just feels… I don’t know. Like, I shouldn’t need this.” It’s like an addictive habit, similar to the joints they’re using, only he doesn’t control when or if he takes a hit.
10.1) “Jordy, everybody needs comfort. Everyone needs touch, affection. It doesn’t make you less of a person just because you like it.” but it should be on their own terms
10.2) “Yeah, dude. I let my hairdresser massage my scalp when I get a shampoo, and I live for that shit. Does that make me less of a person?” – “Oh my god, same. I go feral for a good back scratch.” The difference is that Steph and Ellie consent to those.
11) “I bet if you stop overthinking it, you’ll actually enjoy it a lot more.” I find the notion that him thinking about it is the problem, not the blatant disregard of his consent, disturbing and more than a little disappointing coming from Chloe.
1)I agree with Chole, his body has totally morphed and he is 3 inch’s tall with completely different body parts and needs he doesn’t understand at all and needs the woman that is his guardian to protect him from the world and is unknowable self that is always almost getting himself killed because he still thinks he is human, and enjoy the positives of being a little.
2) I have always thought if he embraced his new reality instead of fighting it, he would have a better life especially in his current environment which is better then 95% of littles.
3) I like the saying that I have heard on here that smallara is like a handicap. So in your logic a person who is hurt badly in a accident or a disease shouldn’t learn how their body works by what happened and use any help from anyone or use tools to make their life better.
4) Im feeling like you have been hurt by giant woman lol.
0) sorry for the delayed reply. It’s been super busy at work so i got off late and went to bed.
1) It is not common. Its on occasion kind of thing. Steph is the keeper of it but they all chipped in for the actual product. But its not a everyday or even every week occurrence.
2) It is understandable reaction on his part.
3) He hasn’t completely capitulated yet. There is still fight in him.
3.2) Although it is relaxing feeling that the does enjoy. So they are right about that. Jordan more doesn’t image of it all but he does like the action itself. As it is comforting and relaxing. Kind of like in school when people were like oh this makes me look uncool
4) He is more trying to hide the fact that he does like it. He doesn’t want to admit to it. Is kind of the scenario i was trying to convey in the scene.
5) I wondered if you would comment on that. You did not let me down.
6) Well he’s not good a subterfuge. So It felt fitting to have him try but fail. Plus he is literally attempting it in front of experts at that sort of thing.
7) I would say its more self-conscious then bad. As its more the appearance of it and how it makes him look.
8) Chloe could technically become a guardian with Jordan is Sara and her progress their relationship. As she would be also caring for Jordan if she and Sara got an apartment together or furthered the relationship.
8.2) It’s more that he doesn’t want them to think less of him then it is him not liking it or wanting to resist from a dislike of it. As he does like it he just doesn’t want the image they have of him to change which being a little is relatively unavoidable.
9) Thats is true a good parallel i never thought of.
10) that’s a fair point.
10.2) they do. they are actively going out for those services. They were trying to make him feel better and more secure about himself and the comfort he gets from the petting.
11) Wel he isn’t not liking it though or he is enjoying the petting. It’s not as if he is saying “stop this now”. Chloe is more coming from the standpoint of recognizing that this image he has built up of what a man should be is wrong and he is over thinking that image by trying to live up to or uphold it. He should stop overthinking the ideal he is trying to live up to as its only a creation in his own mind of “what a man” is. No one else in the room is thinking less of him specifically because Sara is petting him and he is enjoying it.
11) No one is thinking less of him because their opinion of him is already pretty low. He is just a Little to them.
