The music thumped softly in the Gracewood mansion, punctuated by bursts of laughter and excited chatter. Up in the raised Little area with its scaled design, its miniature dance floor, food truck kiosk, and glittering string lights, Jordan and Kelli had just started digging into their conversation when they heard a familiar voice.
“Kelli!” Kayla whispered urgently, standing beside the railing that bordered the edge of the Little area. Her eyes scanned the crowd of Littles, clearly searching.
Kelli looked up, momentarily surprised, then gave a quick wave and started walking toward the railing. Jordan followed just a step behind, curiosity on his face.
Kayla leaned in a bit as they approached, her arms wrapped around herself. “I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do,” she said quietly, her voice tight with self-consciousness. “I don’t go to things like this. Sara’s off with Chloe doing their couple thing, Ellie’s got some guy wrapped around her finger, and Mallory’s off with Gavin somewhere. I feel like I’m the only person here without a clue.”
Kelli crossed her arms as she looked up at her sister. “What about Steph?”
“I have no idea where she is,” Kayla replied, exasperated. “And I feel so dumb standing around in this outfit like a lost bridesmaid.”
Her dress,an elegant fitted number in white, was more formal than anything she’d worn before, styled to fit in with the posh ambiance of Chloe’s event. Her hair, once simple, was now swept into gentle waves with added volume, thanks to Mallory’s aggressive makeover session. It was a look completely out of her comfort zone, and it showed.
“You’re not dumb,” Jordan chimed in. “You’re just… not used to this kind of crowd. I get it.”
“Well, Jordy and I can hang with you for a bit,” Kelli offered, softening. She turned to look back at Jordan. “You don’t mind, do you?”
“Not at all,” he said. Truthfully, he felt a flicker of empathy for Kayla. He hadn’t felt comfortable at this party until just recently, and that was only because of Kelli.
Kayla gave a grateful nod and started to reach down to help them up when a pair of arms wrapped around her from behind.
“There you are!” a familiar voice chimed in. Talisa, radiant in a shimmering emerald dress with silver hoops, gave Kayla a quick hug before stepping beside her. Her eyes sparkled as she looked her friend up and down. “You look amazing, Kay. I barely recognized you! Wait, what’s going on with your hair?”
Kayla let out a sigh. “Mallory put extensions in it. I have no idea how much hair is actually mine right now. It was like going through a makeover montage in a teen movie.”
“Well, it works,” Talisa said with a laugh. “You look like someone who belongs here. Which, you know, you do.”
Talisa’s gaze drifted downward, and she caught sight of Kelli standing at the edge of the railing. Her eyes widened, and her jaw practically dropped.
“Oh my god. Is that your sister?” she whispered.
“Yep,” Kayla said, a smirk tugging at her lips.
Kelli gave a small wave.
Talisa blinked several times, her voice momentarily caught. “Wow. You’re… I didn’t expect, sorry, it’s just, you’re stunning.”
Kelli raised an eyebrow, clearly used to the attention but amused nonetheless. “Thanks.”
Jordan chuckled softly beside her.
Kayla, suddenly feeling much less awkward, grinned.
“I assume you’re good now?” Kelli asked.
Talisa gave an enthusiastic nod and slipped her arm around Kayla’s. The two began talking animatedly about outfits, music, and their mutual confusion around formal etiquette.
Kelli turned back to Jordan. “Wanna dance?”
“You know I can’t say no to that.”
She grabbed his arm, and together they melted into the small but lively crowd of Littles on the dance floor. The lights shimmered above them, casting kaleidoscope patterns across their tiny space.
For Jordan, dancing wasn’t second nature. His rhythm was passable on a good day, but compared to Kelli, who moved with a natural fluidity and joy, he felt like a clumsy marionette. The polished surface of the miniature dance floor beneath them shimmered in sync with the pulsing bass from the larger room. Their world was contained, framed by the safety railing that protected them from the cavernous drop below, and yet it still felt exposed, like dancing atop a pedestal for giants to see.
From their height, the massive teen party loomed in the distance. Laughter, towering silhouettes, and bursts of movement filled the room beyond their tiny arena. But up here, within their scaled-down world, there was intimacy, shared glances, close steps, small touches.
Jordan stumbled once, then twice. “Okay, I definitely should’ve taken some lessons.”
Kelli laughed, catching him before he fully lost his balance. “You’re doing fine, Jordy. Just follow my lead.”
She guided his hands into hers, placed them gently around her waist, and took a step backward, setting a slow, steady rhythm. Her confidence anchored him. With her smiling up at him, he started to forget about the teens towering around them, the lights, the music. It was just them.
“You really love this, don’t you?” he asked between steps.
“Dancing? It’s where I feel the most like me. Like I’m not being looked down on or treated like a child or a pet. Just… free.”
Jordan nodded. He was beginning to feel it too. Not graceful, not cool, but accepted. Encouraged. The warmth in Kelli’s touch, the sound of her laugh, the way she spun slightly and then pulled him back in, it all made him forget about being small.
For once, he didn’t feel like a Little.
He just felt alive.
Great to see Talisa.
YES !!!!!! The Kelli X Jordan movement evolves into a higher place like Jack the dog said in adventure time “ the 15 levels of a relationship” and right now we on level one ☝️!!!!
Kalisa will be taking over shortly
NO !!! It’s not happening you bastard!!!
It is…
With her body in the pic I cant argue with you lol.
It is eluded to here that Talisa does like Kelli which is a bit more discussed in the Kayla story.
Unknown how Kelli feels about any of it
YOU SON OF BITCH !!!!!!!!
The Kalisa World Order is in control now.
When your kwo your kwo 4 life. Vader knows this.
GOD DAMN !!!!!
The end is now, vader…..Talisa has arrived.
Also, “Mallory put extensions in it. I have no idea how much hair is actually mine right now” clears up a lot of confusion I had lol i was like there is no way she has that much hair under a beanie
NO THE HELL ITS NOT !!!!!
I am happy Jordan and Kelli are getting all touchy and feely but man Talisa looks yummy. If I was Jordan I would be seeing how good my long jump was to her amazing body lol.
Talisa took Kayla away and happily left Kelli and Jordan together. I don’t think Kalisa is an obstacle.
Well this is pre Kayla story. So talisa and Kelli don’t have any kind of little biggle working relationship. Certainly not to a point she would whisk Kelli away and share her feelings.
So I dont think talisa not taking Kelli or going with Kayla could be viewed as
No kalisa. But, it also may not be anything just like Jordan and Kelli may just be nothing.
Kelli is a exploring college girl and like I said littles I think would be better at Oral then bigs so maybe Kelli will do some of her exploring on a giant yummy body of Talisa that goes on forever lol.
0) Talisa without glasses looks a bit cursed
1) “I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do.” She is out of her element, so confusion is natural.
2) “What about Steph?” probably standing around gossiping with people.
3) “You’re not dumb, You’re just… not used to this kind of crowd. I get it.” Jordan’s in the same boat in many ways.
4) “He hadn’t felt comfortable at this party until just recently, and that was only because of Kelli.” Kayla’s also using Kelli for the same thing.
5) “I have no idea how much hair is actually mine right now.” just remember how much you had yesterday.
6) “I assume you’re good now?” Kinda wanted to see how far Kayla would get trying to pick up Jordan before Jess got involved.
7) “For Jordan, dancing wasn’t second nature. His rhythm was passable on a good day, but compared to Kelli, who moved with a natural fluidity and joy, he felt like a clumsy marionette” That seems consistent, but at least he is trying.
8) “For once, he didn’t feel like a Little. He just felt alive.” This is good for him
9) “here, within their scaled-down world, there was intimacy, shared glances, close steps, small touches.” sounds like Chloe knows how to make littles feel normal
0) lol. Yeah the lighting in this one was weird so i had to try to fix it with photoshop as i rendered it 2 or 3 times and light was blown out.
1) This is far outside of Kayla’s comfort zone. Shes outside her comfort universe.
2) Steph is definitely vibing about talking with people.
3) He is. He shares a lot of similarities to Kayla.
4) She is but she is also ruining Kelli’s date as she knows Kelli won’t not help her and Jordan wont say anything.
5) lol.
6) I thought about having Kayla take interact directly with them but I ended up going the Talisa route instead.
7) He is, ultimately he is having a good time even if Sara did kind of force him to come.
8) Yes, A sara was right moment.
9) Well having other little around helps. As it creates normalcy.
0) It could also be the angle and pose she’s in.
1) poor girl, at least she’s there willingly and with friends
3) Very similar people. I hope we see them interact one-on-one more.
4) So Kelli sees it as a date? Or just Kayla
6) Lol
7) It seems to get better the more time he spends away from her.
8) Broken clocks and blind squirrels.
9) Definitely.
