Smallara 559

Smallara Episode 559

No Smallara on Friday 18th or Monday 21st on account of Easter. The regular posting schedule resumes Tuesday the 22nd of April.
________

The bass was thunderous, vibrating through the tiny floor beneath Jordan and Kelli’s feet, sending ripples through the crowd of Littles who moved and jumped in time with the music. Neon strobes cast waves of electric blues and radiant pinks across the dance floor as tiny stage cameras and drones weaved through the crowd, capturing the scaled spectacle for Littles and full-sized teens alike. Overhead, screens mounted above the Little stage reflected the performance and the crowd’s excitement, broadcast to millions through NexoraNet’s seamless stream.

Jordan couldn’t stop watching Kelli. She was glowing, her hair bouncing as she jumped in place, her arms raised, her smile wide. For the first time in a long while, she didn’t look like someone burdened by the weight of being Little in a world that never quite saw her as a whole person. She looked… happy. Alive.

“This is amazing, Jordy!!” she shouted over the music, her voice carried on waves of pure joy. “We should get closer to the band! Call Sara!”

Jordan blinked. “I’m sure she’s busy with…” He trailed off, not needing to finish the thought. Kelli was already looking at him expectantly. But when he reached to his side, he realized with a jolt that he’d left his tablet behind. “I don’t have my tablet. I didn’t want to risk losing it.”

Kelli’s expression faltered, but Jordan held up a finger, a sly smile forming. “But I’ve got an idea.”

He gestured for her to follow as they started weaving their way toward the side of the platform where the scaled bathroom corridor met the ramp leading to the performance trailer and stage. The crowd thinned as they moved off the main dance floor, but the music still pulsed in their bones, a living rhythm carried through every surface.

Even from this distance, Jordan remained stunned that Chloe had pulled this off. The production value, the space carved out for Littles, it was more than just inclusive. It was empowering.

As they reached the narrow ramp flanked by soft lights, a Little security guard stood firm with arms crossed. His expression was professional but calm.

“Uhh, hey,” Jordan said, trying to sound casual. “We just need to get through real quick.”

“Sorry, no one’s allowed past this point unless cleared,” the guard said with a firm shake of his head. “Stage and trailer access is restricted.”

Jordan hesitated, but then squared his shoulders and stepped forward. He wasn’t used to pulling rank, but tonight felt different. Kelli was still beaming from the show, and he didn’t want the moment to end.

“I get that you’re doing your job, and you’re doing great, by the way—but I’m Jordan Reeves. I’m on the guest list. My guardian’s Sara Reeves, she’s with Chloe Gracewood. Which sort of makes me, you know… basically Chloe’s Little, in a way. So I’m pretty sure the ‘no one allowed’ rule doesn’t apply to me.”

He tried to sound confident, but the words still came out with the nervousness of someone unaccustomed to wielding influence.

The guard looked him over, squinting. Then, without a word, he radioed in. A brief pause. Then a response crackled through his earpiece.

He looked back, the stiffness easing. “All right, Jordy. You’re clear. Just don’t get too close to the stage or disrupt the crew.”

Jordan exhaled in relief and turned to Kelli, who stared at him in open amusement.

“I didn’t know you had it in you,” she said, smirking.

Jordan smiled sheepishly as they moved past the guard and toward the edge of the stage. “Well, you said you liked the band. I just wanted to make the night special for you.”

From here, the view was incredible. The members of Liv Dangerously were only a few feet away, their energy explosive, their instruments glittering under the spotlight. They played with heart, more than heart, with something to prove.

“It’s like we’ve got our own private concert,” Jordan murmured, watching the drummer slam down in perfect rhythm.

“Well, who could argue with someone who’s basically Chloe’s Little,” Kelli teased, bumping her shoulder gently into his.

He turned red. “I only said that to get us back here. You can’t tell anyone.”

Kelli leaned in close, her voice soft. “Shhh…”

Before Jordan could react, her lips pressed to his. It wasn’t rushed, or awkward, or uncertain. It was a kiss that said thank you, a kiss that carried years of yearning and the brief, precious spark of a moment that felt completely real. When they finally pulled apart, the music was still thumping, the lights still flashing, but everything felt quieter somehow.

Kelli exhaled slowly. “It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a date like this. Since I’ve been me. Thank you, Jordy.”

Jordan swallowed the lump in his throat. “Would you… like to dance?”

Kelli’s smile returned, soft and certain. “You read my mind.”

They found a small open space near the back edge of the platform. From here, they had a clear view of the band. As they moved, Kelli took the lead, graceful, free, as though the music belonged to her. Jordan, by contrast, moved hesitantly at first. His rhythm was awkward, his steps just slightly offbeat.

He wasn’t a dancer. He never had been. He’d always been the guy with a drink in hand, laughing with friends, avoiding the dance floor.

But tonight? With Kelli guiding him, laughing and keeping step with him?

He wanted to try.

Kelli danced in tight spins and easy sways, always looping back toward Jordan, always inviting him back into the motion. He could feel the beat move through him now, not just in his ears, but in his chest. In the way she moved with him.

And for a brief, shimmering moment under Chloe’s lights and Liv Dangerously’s beat, Jordan could see a possibility where being he could still live a life and maybe a better one even if it was different.

I shouldn’t have been as surprised as I was lol it’s a date despite what Jordan thought so a kiss was inevitable. Still, This is an even bigger moment considering how much more of a struggle it’s been for Kelli than Jordan regarding acceptance. I’m glad they both got to feel normal for once, but more so for Kelli. If anything, the party was more for her benefit than anyone elses, even if it wasn’t intended to be that way

A) I think Jordan being able to show his caring side to want to make Kelli happy and live in the moment is what I think is the spark of love between the two even though in little society and Jordans personality he is the follower.
B) I think if Sara and Chole see this it will make them even more determined to make them a little family and I think that would be a lived happily ever after and a many chapters following the linked couples of Sara & Chole and Jordan & Kelli and the little kids they will have and how the guardians become good giant Aunts including Kayla lol.
C) I think after this moment their is a possibility for Kelli & Jordan to not look at the virus as all bad because in a lot of ways their lives are better with less responsibility’s and they found a loving spouse that they want to settle down with and have kids that they never had before. I think that is huge for everyone’s happiness, even Kayla’s because she wants Kelli’s happiness. I also think this is a opportunity for a lot a great new fun loving chapters lol. Sara could make her littles the biggest reality show in history and make her a big entertainment person next to Chole and he label.

0) Sorry, Bit of a late Reply today (I have Good Friday off and slept in)

1) “For the first time in a long while, she didn’t look like someone burdened by the weight of being Little in a world that never quite saw her as a whole person. She looked… happy. Alive.” She’d need this.

2) “We should get closer to the band! Call Sara!” There is no guarantee that Sara could or would help them.

3) “I don’t have my tablet. I didn’t want to risk losing it.” good call Jordan

4) “The production value, the space carved out for Littles, it was more than just inclusive. It was empowering” I hope seeing how much can be done inspires him to be more critical of the crumbs Sara provides him.

5) “a Little security guard stood firm with arms crossed. His expression was professional but calm.” I thought it was a woman in the picture.

6.1) “I get that you’re doing your job, and you’re doing great, by the way—but I’m Jordan Reeves. I’m on the guest list. My guardian’s Sara Reeves, she’s with Chloe Gracewood. Which sort of makes me, you know… basically Chloe’s Little, in a way. So I’m pretty sure the ‘no one allowed’ rule doesn’t apply to me.” Man I hope that doesn’t work, it was douchy as fuck to read.
6.2) “All right, Jordy. You’re clear. Just don’t get too close to the stage or disrupt the crew.” damnit

7.1) “The members of Liv Dangerously were only a few feet away” as in actual feet or feet from Jordan and Kelli’s perspectives?
7.2) “They played with heart, more than heart, with something to prove.” in many ways they do have something to prove, not just as Little performers but as Chloe’s first contract.

8) “I only said that to get us back here. You can’t tell anyone.” There’s a 0% chance this won’t get back to Chloe and Sara somehow; either the security team tells them, his collar footage is watched, or Sara needs his emotional support and seeks him out.

9) “Before Jordan could react, her lips pressed to his. It wasn’t rushed, or awkward, or uncertain. It was a kiss that said thank you, a kiss that carried years of yearning and the brief, precious spark of a moment that felt completely real” J Vader and the Jelli fans are gonna flip. (so will C M but for different reasons)

10) “It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a date like this. Since I’ve been me. Thank you, Jordy.” so it’s even a date to her.

11) “Would you… like to dance?” – “You read my mind.” Who saya he’s bad at social ques?

12) “Kelli took the lead, graceful, free, as though the music belonged to her. Jordan, by contrast, moved hesitantly at first. His rhythm was awkward, his steps just slightly offbeat.” I guess he used up his confidence talking to the security guard.

13) “And for a brief, shimmering moment under Chloe’s lights and Liv Dangerously’s beat, Jordan could see a possibility where being he could still live a life and maybe a better one even if it was different.” Hope is good especially after what Sara’s put him through, (the existence of worse doesn’t make it better)

5) Well, since the Little women are naturally larger than the men. I think it just makes sense that a woman would be working security, so it seems to have worked out for the best.

0) it was 2:30 lam here when you posted. It’s also been 3:30am, or 4:30 am depending on Daylight saving and you post Tuesday- Saturday. I usually read and answer at 4:30 before work.

1) Everything’s normal sized except the men.

2) True, but would she let them is another matter

4) Still, it’s a taste of how “Lucky” he could be

5) Fairfax enough, it makes sense to be a woman since Little females are bigger, but I could see Chloe making sure Little Men get proper opportunities.

6.1) It just felt so wrong for him to that, idk it felt unlike him
6.2) Indeed, it’s almost like he’s basically her Little.

7.1) so inches away then
7.2) more arguably, if Echo Riot fails Chloe will be fine, they don’t have that Garantee

8) I could imagine security joking about it and Chloe hearing it like that, or Sara checking specifically the party footage to see if he enjoyed himself.

9) so I saw, it’s pretty funny.

10) Clearly Jordan is the only one without the memo.

13) I realise that I’m more critical than most, I’ve lived a different life than others and have a more optimistic view of things, so it’s seems worse to me when things aren’t as good as they could be, or if people are meaner than necessary.

Sara being good now doesn’t erase anything she’s done wrong, and to me Sara’s wrongs outweigh her rights.

Asukafan2001: Since I don’t know how to contact you other than the comments, I’ll try to ask my question here. I was looking at your early version of Madison’s World and was wondering if you tried the Wayback Machine (Internet Archive) to see if they have a copy of your missing chapters? If you tell me what your DA name was back then and an approximate timeline. I will search for you if you would like.

Thanks again for the great stories!
