Evans world 1

Whispers of a Former Life x Evan’s World Episode 1: A Madison’s World Side Story

Charity lay sprawled across the expansive leather seat of the car, the polished surface cool and smooth beneath her tiny body. Every subtle texture of the seat felt exaggerated at her diminutive scale, each stitch a pronounced ridge under her sensitive fingertips. The smell of conditioned leather mixed in the air with the candied sweetness of Evan Kingsley, whose presence overwhelmed Charity’s senses, bubblegum, strawberries, and the faint trace of vanilla perfume created an intoxicating cloud that wrapped around her.

Evan sat beside her, a giantess at her new perspective, dominating the space easily, her youthful face glowing with excitement as she spoke animatedly on her phone. Her laughter filled the air, bright and carefree, sharp giggles breaking through the steady hum of the engine. Charity caught snippets of her conversation, names like Brooklyn and Madison floated down from above, their context meaningless but the energy palpable.

Each time Evan’s voice spiked with excitement, Charity felt the vibrations ripple through the leather seat beneath her, a reminder of her vulnerability. Her heartbeat quickly as she glanced up at Evan. Charity’s eyes having to crawl over miles of glittery hoodie to see Evan’s eyes sparkled with a youthful exuberance that Charity herself had lost, replaced by weeks of tension and fear in Alejandra’s shadow. Yet here, amidst the swirl of Evan’s bubbly conversation, Charity felt a strange kind of relief, the aching weight of captivity under Alejandra had been lifted, replaced by a different, uncertain reality that, for now, at least, felt safer.

Occasionally, Evan lowered her hand, the vastness of her palm gently caressing Charity’s back. Her touch was surprisingly soft and reassuring, far gentler than Charity had expected from someone who held complete dominion over her. The simple gesture eased the tense knot of muscles in Charity’s spine, coaxing away the remnants of anxiety that had built up over weeks of hardship. Charity closed her eyes momentarily, letting the gentle strokes reassure her, even as the nagging feeling of dependency gnawed at the edges of her thoughts.

A sudden thud jolted Charity’s senses back to full alertness, and she flinched instinctively. Beside her now rested Evan’s phone, encased in a vibrant pink case, glitter sparkling under the filtered sunlight through the car window. A white elastic cord trailed from the corner of the phone, adorned with dangling charms, tiny plastic strawberries, glittering stars, and pastel beads that clinked softly together with the car’s gentle movements. The scale was absurd; the phone dwarfed her easily, a vivid reminder of her altered status in this new world.

Charity’s gaze shifted towards the front seat, where Mark Kingsley, Evan’s father, conversed quietly on his own phone. His voice was steady, authoritative, the kind of voice that Charity had once associated with safety and control. She knew vaguely of his position as director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, her father’s friend, a man who’d once frequented her home, sitting comfortably in the study with her father discussing business over bourbon. The familiarity brought a strange comfort, mingled with confusion at how swiftly and drastically her own circumstances had changed.

Evan looked out the window briefly before setting her lip gloss down beside Charity with another thump. Leaning back into the plush seat, she fixed her gaze upon Charity, her eyes glittering with a possessive excitement. Her expression was soft, almost affectionate, but unmistakably dominant.

“You’re going to love being my little, Charity,” Evan began, her voice oozing authority and pride. “The moment I heard you were actually a little, I knew I wanted you. Honestly, I didn’t think it would happen. I looked at so many other littles. None of them were quite right. But you, Charity, being registered under Mexican law makes you unique. No one else at school has a Mexican little. You’ll be special.”

Charity felt her stomach twist with conflicting emotions. Gratitude mingled with confusion and a vague sense of unease. She peered upward at Evan, her tiny voice filled with uncertainty.

“But why me, Evan? Surely others would have been better, less complicated. Why go through all this effort for me?”

Evan’s lips curled into a knowing smile, and her eyes narrowed slightly, the childlike excitement tempered by a glint of cunning maturity beyond her youthful years.

“You were a Stevens, Charity. I know exactly what that means. Your family had connections, power, influence. I saw how you carried yourself, proud, indifferent. I tried so hard to get your attention whenever I came over with my dad, but you ignored me, like I was invisible, like I was just another part of the background as you gossiped with your friends or had people over for a pool party. Now, things are different.” Her smile widened, triumphant and a little smug. “Now, you belong to me. But mostly, Charity, I wanted a little who could actually bring something to the table, someone who wasn’t just elevated by being mine. Having you as my little is a status statement, future heiress Charity Stevens, now Evan Kingsley’s little. The girls at school are going to absolutely love this.”

Charity’s heart sank slightly at Evan’s words, the sense of helplessness creeping back into her chest. She remembered ignoring Evan, dismissing her as a child, an irrelevant background figure. The realization of her own arrogance stung sharply, an unexpected and painful reflection.

The car slowed gently to a halt, and Mark Kingsley turned in his seat, looking back at them both. His face was calm, professional.

“I’ll be right back. Just need to drop off some paperwork and grab a few files. Sit tight,” he said, stepping out of the car and closing the door firmly behind him. The lock clicked audibly, a reassuring security in an otherwise uncertain moment.

In the silence that followed, Evan’s hand drifted down again, stroking Charity’s hair gently, thoughtfully. Her voice lowered to a softer tone, almost introspective.

“You know, Charity, I used to envy you so much. Everything you had, your clothes, your house, your family. You never saw it, did you? How lucky you were?” Evan sighed, her eyes distant for a moment before snapping back to the present. “Now, you’re mine. You’ll see, I’ll take good care of you, better than you treated anyone. You’ll be my prize.”

Evan’s words settled heavily onto Charity, the implications clear and inescapable. The girl she’d overlooked had now become her guardian, her protector, her owner. As the reality settled deeper within her, Charity could only nod slowly, understanding the truth in Evan’s words. She was safe now, free from Alejandra’s clutches, but safety came at a price, her pride, her independence, her identity.

She lay still on the cool leather seat, Evan’s fingers softly combing through her hair, the gentle caress deceptively comforting. Her world had shifted irrevocably, and as the car idled, waiting for Mark’s return, Charity found herself facing a future completely rewritten by the whims of a teenage girl who held her entire existence within the palm of her hand.

I think Al was trying to get the Stevens family fortune to take care of her family, and once she figured out that Charity didn’t have access to it her former employer’s child turned a burden to her.

Al didnt want the stevens family fortune as she is an illegal and it would draw attention to her if she tried to claim that much money as she would most likely be deported and then any money may be able to get would be tied up in litagation would surmise.

That was atleast what I figured looking at the situation.

I suppose that’s possible but at the same time I think Al was starting to like charity and to be honest she really wasn’t that bad to her. Once Chloe gave her that job, the dynamic between the two of them would have changed cause she wouldn’t have been desperate for money and could ease up on charity

i agree, Alejandra only gave up charity because it was the best deal for her family and herself. Even Charity saw that which is why she said what she said.

As her whole point to going to US was to help out her family as her parents both worked hard but struggled to make ends meet. So what little Alejandra could send home helped alot.

I think at this point its hard to judge which would be better. As she’s literally just gotten Charity. As the reality can often times be different then what you imagine. Most guardians have found that out.

However, its highly possible Alejandra could be better. I just dont think i could day based off things upto this point.

i was thinking since money is less of an issue now that she’s working for Chloe that it’d change the dynamic and expectation that Al had for Charity. they’d probably have a better relationship and less work for charity.

Interesting so Evan sees Charity as not only a pet but a way to raise her own social standing, very cunning indeed. I like her character already.

I think if charity can suck up her pride and for instance curl up in her lap in the car and put her head against her tummy and play up the cute card. Kiss up to Even to manipulate her and say she is happy to be her little and cant wait to be her little doll and have dresses etc. She did it at balls for her dad I’m sure she can do it for a little girl.

if you are passionate about a story, you should take the time and write a fan story. I really like the little village building story so I am still trying to finish a fan fiction based on that. I am stuck on a chapter trying to put a little drama in it lol. I would like to see you take a swing at fan fiction. there are great timelines and the wiki page to help you keep within the worlds guidelines lol. good luck bud. My story is a little boring because as a engineer I want to fix everything lol That is why I am trying to put a little drama in it.

Are Dayton and Nicolle part of Evan, Madison, and Brooklyn’s gang?
It would be cool to see a slightly older Dayton appear in the next season of Madison’s World.

That would be neat or even having an older Dayton meet Scotty her friend Chrissy’s little.

0) ooh, new series name? Nice.

1) “Charity caught snippets of her conversation, names like Brooklyn and Madison floated down from above, their context meaningless but the energy palpable.” Don’t worry, you’ll learn who they are soon enough.

2.1) “Evan’s eyes sparkled with a youthful exuberance that Charity herself had lost, replaced by weeks of tension and fear in Alejandra’s shadow.” Maybe Charity could get it back, but given what we know, i doubt it
2.2) “Yet here, amidst the swirl of Evan’s bubbly conversation, Charity felt a strange kind of relief, the aching weight of captivity under Alejandra had been lifted, replaced by a different, uncertain reality that, for now, at least, felt safer.” I’m sure she’ll get along with Evan better, at the very least.

3) “Her touch was surprisingly soft and reassuring, far gentler than Charity had expected from someone who held complete dominion over her. The simple gesture eased the tense knot of muscles in Charity’s spine” That’s actually kinda sweet.

4) “I looked at so many other littles. None of them were quite right. But you, Charity, being registered under Mexican law makes you unique. No one else at school has a Mexican little. You’ll be special.” She was only a Mexican Little by technicality. And surely she’d be considered an American one now.

5) “Charity felt her stomach twist with conflicting emotions. Gratitude mingled with confusion and a vague sense of unease.” That’s a fair way for her to feel.

6) “But why me, Evan? Surely others would have been better, less complicated. Why go through all this effort for me?” Valid question.

7) “Having you as my little is a status statement, future heiress Charity Stevens, now Evan Kingsley’s little. The girls at school are going to absolutely love this.” damn, And the fact that Chloe Gracewood herself aided in the acquisition would boost that status significantly.

8) “She remembered ignoring Evan, dismissing her as a child, an irrelevant background figure. The realization of her own arrogance stung sharply, an unexpected and painful reflection” that’s not great Charity, but at least your guardian isn’t, hypothetically, someone you bullied into a suicide attempt.

9.1) “You know, Charity, I used to envy you so much. Everything you had, your clothes, your house, your family. You never saw it, did you? How lucky you were?” I’m sure Evan’s not entirely seeing how lucky she is either.
9.2) “Now, you’re mine. You’ll see, I’ll take good care of you, better than you treated anyone. You’ll be my prize.” Better than Charity treated people? not exactly a high bar

10) “the implications clear and inescapable. The girl she’d overlooked had now become her guardian, her protector, her owner.” AGAIN.

11) “Charity found herself facing a future completely rewritten by the whims of a teenage girl who held her entire existence within the palm of her hand” actually the whims of a pre teen since Evan’s only 12.

2.2) she needs to be Evans perfect doll and let her dress her and and show Evan tricks to be a pretty teen with make up and dressing tips. Make herself of use.

3) Need her touch to get closer to her so she defends her.

7) another cute card she can play saying who she is and how much she loves Evan as her Guardian to her friends.

8) she can use their past dynamic as a suck up point to say she is so happy she now gets to spend time with her as her giant guardian when she did when she was big.
Brute force is not as effective as manipulating a giant by their need for feeling better then somebody and bring out their maternal side. There is a reason young girls want to play house and want to be the mommy lol.

9.1) Charity and Evan don’t understand how lucky a pair they are because if they bond and love each other, they will be hard to beat.

9.2) good start hopefully to a strong pair

10) again she can use this to her advantage and say how lucky she is to be her little and now she is a giant she now sees how beautiful she is and how much she wants to help her become popular. Charity could easily manipulate herself with worlds and cuddling lol

11) the easier to become her most needed doll she will defend and never want out of her cuddle circle for anyone else to mess with

Lethal Ledgend

2.2) I could see Charity giving fashion and make up tips, the question is would Chairty listen.

3) I wonder how her bond would form with Even given she’s already bonded with Alejandra.

7) I don’t think Charity would be all that impressed be Chloe.

8 & 10)  I could see Charity trying to manipulate that.

9.1) We’ll see.

0) Yup as any continuation would occur under this name and it works in nicely with the Madison’s World naming scheme and allows for what i think is a clean unification of the story lines. Where you know Evan’s world is tied to Madison’s world. If brooklyn gets a story I could just call it Brooklyns World.

1) You are so positive. I can feel the positivity from you beaming towards charity about how much she will enjoy herself with Madison and Brooklyn.

2) It really would depend on the relationship between them grows.
2.2) Being Evan and Charity had a relationship even if Charity was just being nice(for her) toward Evan it would be closer to what she is used to then with Alejandra.
3) I wanted to try to show both sides. It’s not all bad. Evan does want her to be happy and is doing what she feels is treating her nicely.
4) She would still be mexican as thats where she was originally registered. Mexico allows for hte sale of littles by consumers were america does not but the sale doesn’t change the registration which will always be Mexico.
5) Given the events over the last couple hours i can imagine that being a valid feelign as well.
6) I would wonder that too in her position as its not like she owed charity anything.
7) Having Chloe involved would be an extra feather in Evan’s cap. Chloe would be a psuedo celebrity being the daughter of such visible and rich people.
8) That is a huge plus or really anyone she bullied not just Sara. They would all be negative towards her.
9) Probably not, but evan is definatey not Charity well off. She is also though not quite as full of herself as charity. granted im not saying thats hard to do. But she is probably a better person then charity if you were comparing the two. I would also personally excuse Evan more then charity just do to age.
9.2) its not a high bar but it is a standard an really if your charity can you really ask for more? Please treat me better hten i treat others just sounds wrong.
10) Well she more overlooked her becuas she was a middle schooler and charity was in high school. So its a bit more understanding this time.
11) That is true. Not even teen good catch.

0) That’s cute how it rhymes, also I remember you mentioning that you were thinking about doing a spin off with one of Madison’s friends, I guess this is it.

1) that’s me, Mr Optimist

2.1) Indeed, but given what we know about Evan’s future, it seems unlikely.
2.2) That makes sense, I’m still imagining Even as Charity’s analogue to Dayton.

3) I know, guardians tend not to think they’re being mean (except Mia and Saddie).

4) Really? I thought Littles were just given the nationality of their guardian.

5) She doesn’t quite feel saved yet.

6) and I can’t imagine Charity doing it for her.

7) It makes sense that the Gracewoods and Stevens would have mutual friends like Mark Kingsly. I’m questioning if Evan’s ever met Chloe, like she did Charity.

9.1) I was referring to Evan’s immunity, but she is in the upper echelon of Middle-class, just one below upper class, similar to where I’d put the Reeves. Even is younger, and I’ll wait to see what she does before I decide if I can excuse it because of her age. I know I’m not a fan of Evan at 14, let’s see how she is at 12.
9.2) I agree that that request sounds wrong, but I hear it so often.

10) Yeah, but if I had a nickel every time Charity got a guardian who she’d overlooked, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

11) I try to help where I can.

Well, unless the story takes another abrupt turn, Charity will eventually wish she was back with Alejandra (Once Evan accepts Cindy Wessen’s teachings).

At this point it’s like waiting for the train to crash, but I can’t look away! 🫣

Chloe did not want Sara to get her mostly because she did not want to see that side of Sara. I wonder if there was any consideration for how bad Charity would have been treated. If Chloe has empathy for that, then perhaps if she becomes aware of Cindy’s influence on Evan, Chloe would insist Mark live up to his word.

Will Charity’s brother show up at some time? (if so I’m sure you won’t leak such a spoiler, but I just had to ask 😇 ).

I do like to read about Littles being miserable, but I like a happy ending too! (it’s all good)

I’m trying to get the timeline straight (thanks Lethal!)

So Jordan catches Smallara in the middle of September 2020.
We are only a week or 2 into the Smallara Prime story, and it seems like Charity contracts Smallara within a week or so of the last posted episode of Smallara Prime, so It should be no later than October 2020.

Cindy and Greg contract the disease sometime in 2023.

So it looks like Evan, Madison and their group will be indoctrinated in about a 2 year time span.

Charity, Chloe, and Sara are all born in 2005.
McKenzie in 2007.
Dayton in 2008.
Evan and Madison in 2009.

So in the Whispers story Evan is about 11 or 12 (too young to be a guardian).

FYI- Cindy is born in 1981 and Greg in 1979 (39 and 41 respectively at the time of Whispers)

Evan would be known as a junior guardian, a term used for young guardians under 16 years of age.

Lethal Ledgend
Reply to  Nodqfan

No, “Junior guardian” is the term used for people in guardian training, once they’re fully licensed they’re “Guardian Trained” and if they start owning a Little they’re just “Guardians”

Bear in mind Sara and co are all under 16 and never referred to as “Junior Guardians”.

(You’re welcome)

Not quite right, Charity contracts Smallara in September 2021 a year after Jordan and is passed over too Evan in October of the same year.

Minimum age for a guardian is 12, not 13 like Sara mentioned, this is a retcon Asuka made for Nicole.

Cindy would already be indoctrinating people with her beliefs now.

So, is Chloe’s party taking place in 2020 or 2021? Because before it, Sarah, Ellie, and Jordie are discussing Cindy’s actions. And it says Cindy was in their guardianship class. So Cindy was already preaching her vision for the babies when Charity ended up with Evan.

How do you figure that Charity was infected a year after Jordan? From what Asuka said we are only a week into Smallara Prime and one of the scenes from that is Sara threatening Charity. Now Whispers starts with no real reference to how much time has passed, but I figure it wasn’t too long after the last scene in the the Prime series.

Did I miss an important fact about the Whispers timeline?

There are context clues and lethal also asks. One example of the contxt clues is Little Mart opened nationwide in 2021 with a trial store at the mall in New York, opening for the holiday season in 2020 to work out bugs.

Lethal asked specifically in a question on the first episode of whispers and i replied:

0) October 2021. So a little over a year after Sara finds Jordan. A few months after Dayton’s junior guardian story and a few months before Steph gets guardian trained for lisa.

Lethal also added it to the timeline but i don’t think it specifies october
