Madison’s World 3
Madison watched her diminutive mother backpedal. She couldn’t quite believe she could be so dumb as to try to run again. Madison felt a surge of exhilaration as she saw her mother’s eyes dart from left to right. It happened in one swift motion. As Darcy went to turn Madison lifted her foot up and stomped down on the ground.
Darcy couldn’t believe the amount of force Madison was able to create. She felt herself tumble backwards. As her back slammed against the hardwood floor she knew she failed and yelped in pain. A moment later she saw the giant rabbit slipper lift back up in the air as a shadow hovered over her like the eye of Sauron.
“Naughty, Naughty” Madison said in a sing song voice as she lifted her foot up higher and higher. Letting it hang over her tiny mother to remind her of her place in this world. The days of her having any authority over her were though and sooner she understood that the better.
Madison with the quickness of animal jumping on its vulnerable prey stomped her foot down with all her force. Darcy, for her part couldn’t even comprehend the movement. All she saw was the foot above her hanging in the air oppressively and the next moment the slipper clad foot had slammed down onto the hardwood floor next to her.
The force was enough to send her tumbling end over end. By the time she stopped all she could hear was the thud, thud thud of Madison’s feet as she walked closer. She opened her eyes only to see the underside of her daughter’s slipper. Dust and dirt rained down on her from sky as putty shook in fear. Her limbs felt like jelly as she found herself unable to lift her own weight.
“Please, mercy.” Darcy was only able to mutter in broken English as her daughter’s foot hung in the air.
“Ha ha ha, you should see yourself. You look so pathetic. I thought you were going to cry. This is going to be the perfect tiktok to boost me over the top. So, while thanks for that, you are in trouble little mother. As I see two shoes and only shoe is getting clean.” Madison said looking over the dirty shoe before turning her gaze back over to her mother who was already trying to make her way over to the shoe.
“Oh mom, its much to late for that. Luckily Daddy, has volunteered to clean both shoes since he is the ever-doting husband. You, however, will be a bit detained for the evening.”
