“Aww, look at him. He looks so disappointed.” Kayla said, looking at Jordan. It surprised her how much control Sara had over Jordan. It was so different from the relationship she had with Kelli. Most of the time, it seemed like the exact inverse of the relationship between Jordy and Sara.
“Well, of course, he’s my wittle pet man. Jordy knows I love him, protect him, and care for him. So, he doesn’t like to disappoint me. He does pretty well overall, but we are still working through a few hurdles. He knows better than to use that kind of tone. It’s all about setting expectations. He knows how to properly communicate that he doesn’t like something to me.
Jordan nodded, not wanting to say anything more. It was embarrassing enough being admonished by Sara in front of her friends. It had only been a few days, but Jordan was fully aware that the Reeves household was very much a matriarchy. Jordan suspected that Sara probably had more pull in the house than her father if she really pushed it. Jordan was left in a position where he had to defer to Sara’s authority in most situations, which limited any power his voice had with her friends.
“Now, what were you saying?” Sara said, looking down at Jordan.
“Can you please take me out when you get inside the school?” Jordan asked, rephrasing his request.
“Sure, once it’s safe, I will take you out. I know you’re like Pikachu. He didn’t like being in the Pokeballs. You don’t like being in my purse.” Sara said as Ellie and Mallory laughed at the factual accuracy of the reference as Sara lowered Jordan into her purse.
The ease with which Sara could push aside the contents of her purse was impressive to him. It made the size disparity between them become apparent in more of a real way in terms of power and not just scale. None of the objects were moveable with such ease by Jordan if they were at all. In a matter of seconds, she had cleared out a little spot for him before closing her purse tightly and opening the car door.
Everything was muffled from the inside of Sara’s purse. Jordan could hear Ellie say something about her hair, but he mostly could hear the voice of Mallory talking to Sara. Jordan could, in turn, do nothing as everything rocked back and forth as Sara walked toward the school. Inside of here, Jordan was oblivious to the entire world. If anyone looked his way, all they would see would be a group of four teenage girls walking from the school parking lot towards the door. No matter how loud he yelled or shouted, his voice could never hope to penetrate beyond the purse.
The only thing Jordan was thankful for was that he wasn’t in Kelli’s situation. The small purse that she was kept in would be a nightmare. It made Jordan wonder how much stuff Kayla kept in her purse. As Kelli was larger than Jordan which was another thing that bothered him. He seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick even when it came to Smallara. As this was the second woman he had seen, and he wasn’t nearly as tall as he should be in comparison to either woman, and Kelli was even larger than him by a sizeable amount.

2 – the remark was worded carefully. He was complaining about his respective height in comparison them.As he feels he should be taller then both yet he was basically level with Lisa and Kelli dominates him in height.

4 – They are, I realized it when I went to post today’s. But i didn’t want to switch them back immediately as then people would have to see the same image twice. So i was going to swap them around in a few days. I was hoping no one would notice.
