The music pulsed softly through the walls, blending into the laughter and voices that filled the expansive lounge. Colored lights from the outdoor patio flickered against the high windows, and the soft clink of ice in glasses added a soothing rhythm to the backdrop of Chloe’s sprawling estate. The party was in full swing, yet in a small circle of couches in the corner, the atmosphere was warm and grounded, more intimate.
Sara leaned forward slightly, her legs tucked beneath her on the couch as Mallory Bak reclined beside her, one arm draped lazily across the backrest. They looked like complete opposites, Sara in her deep purple dress, a little wild around the edges, passionate and expressive. Mallory, ever composed in sleek tan velvet, wore her confidence like armor, always perfectly in control.
They were deep in quiet conversation, voices hushed just under the party’s ambiance.
“I still can’t believe you’re with Chloe,” Mallory said, twirling a loose strand of her hair. “Like, I knew you two had chemistry, but… damn, Sara. You really landed it.”
Sara blushed, casting her eyes down. “I didn’t exactly plan it. It just sort of happened. She saw me when I couldn’t even look in the mirror without hating what I saw. And she… she didn’t flinch. She just loved me. No hesitation.”
Mallory gave a warm hum of approval. “That’s what Chloe does. She sees people, not their families, not their mess, just them.”
There was a pause.
“But you deserve that, Sara,” Mallory added, her tone quieter. “After everything. Charity, the hospital stuff, the nights you locked yourself in the bathroom just to cry it out… You crawled through that. And look where you are. You’re radiant. And you have someone who adores you.”
Sara leaned her head back against the cushion. “You were always there, too. I don’t think I ever told you how much that meant.”
Mallory shrugged, but there was emotion behind her eyes. “I’m not good at soft stuff, you know that. But you were never just another friend to me. You were my tether. The girl I watched refuse to drown. It made me believe I didn’t have to either.”
They sat in that silence for a while, the kind that doesn’t need to be filled. Just two girls, queens in their own right, finding quiet in the middle of a world that always demanded they be louder, stronger, more.
Eventually, Sara glanced down at her lap, where Jordan was no longer resting. He had wandered off with the help of Chloe, making his way toward the side of the room where Kelli now stood, her hands curled gently around the rim of a punch cup almost comically large from her perspective.
Jordan approached carefully, adjusting his suit jacket as he walked. It still felt surreal to be dressed like this, to be treated like someone important. When Kelli turned and saw him, her whole face brightened.
“Hey,” she said, her voice soft and sincere. “You look really nice.”
Jordan smiled shyly. “Thanks. You, uh… you look amazing.”
They both laughed awkwardly, the kind of shared nerves that made things oddly easier.
Kelli gestured for him to follow her, leading him to a nearby table that had been set up specifically for Littles—lowered height, with miniature chairs and refreshments tailored to their scale. They sat across from each other, the hum of the party feeling distant for a moment.
“Is this your first… like, party-party?” Kelli asked.
“Yeah,” Jordan said. “I mean, since the shrink? Definitely. Before that? Nothing like this.”
She nodded. “Same. It’s kinda weird, right? Everyone’s so big. And rich. And they just… do this like it’s normal. I’ve been to many parties but this is something else.”
“I know,” he said. “But they’ve been pretty cool. Chloe, Sara… even Mallory. I didn’t expect to feel, I don’t know, included.”
Kelli looked at him for a long moment. “Jordan, can I ask you something?”
He nodded.
“Do you ever feel like you’re two people now? Like… who you were before and who you are now, and they’re just… living side by side in your head, arguing all the time?”
Jordan blinked, surprised by how much that hit.
“Yeah,” he admitted. “All the time.”
Kelli smiled, a little sad. “Me too.”
They sat there, not needing to say anything else. Just knowing someone else felt it—that quiet war between who they had been and who they were becoming, was enough.
Back on the couch, Mallory leaned over and whispered to Sara, “Your little guy’s a keeper.”
Sara looked over at Jordan and Kelli, watching as the two Littles laughed quietly over some joke only they understood.
“Yeah,” she said softly. “He really is.”

Love the two conversations in this episode.
I love the new mal, I hope she is able to be loving to Gavin.
YES!!!! Jordan my boy is becoming a man finally!!!!
and then Talisa shows up and the real party begins

In the CM edit Talisa grabs Kelli laughing diabolically at Jordan before running off with kelli

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
YOU MONSTER !!!!!
LOL.
0) Who is that in the white turtleneck dress? is she relevant or just an extra?
1) “Sara in her deep purple dress, a little wild around the edges, passionate and expressive. Mallory, ever composed in sleek tan velvet, wore her confidence like armor, always perfectly in control.” both masks they wear.
2) “I didn’t exactly plan it. It just sort of happened. She saw me when I couldn’t even look in the mirror without hating what I saw. And she… she didn’t flinch. She just loved me. No hesitation.” well, I’m sure after Charity “inspired” you to lose all that weight many women would see her in a different light.
3) “You were always there, too. I don’t think I ever told you how much that meant.” Mal can be a good friend.
4.1) “I’m not good at soft stuff, you know that.” No, I think Gavin knows that best of all.
4.2) “But you were never just another friend to me. You were my tether. The girl I watched refuse to drown. It made me believe I didn’t have to either.” that would be inspiring, now I’m wondering what Mal meant by “I didn’t have to either.”
5) “When Kelli turned and saw him, her whole face brightened” The Jelli is strong with this one.
6) “You look really nice.” – “Thanks. You, uh… you look amazing.” compliments, yay.
7.1) “Same. It’s kinda weird, right? Everyone’s so big.” well look at that, littles fo talk about how big everything is.
7.2) “And rich. And they just… do this like it’s normal. I’ve been to many parties but this is something else.” come now Kelli, we all know you went to that same school, probably had wealthier friends too.
8) “Do you ever feel like you’re two people now? Like… who you were before and who you are now, and they’re just… living side by side in your head, arguing all the time?” That is a great way to put it.
9) “Your little guy’s a keeper.” Guardianship is a life long commitment, he fucking better be.
10) “But they’ve been pretty cool. Chloe, Sara… even Mallory. I didn’t expect to feel, I don’t know, included.” When they aren’t abusing, excluding or ridiculing him.
0) I believe its Kayla finely showing she is beautiful like her sister. She works hard looking ordinary lol.
1) I thought Gavin looked like he was going to fall of her shoulder.
2) Chole is amazing and has a touch of fixer in her. lol
3) New Mel must show up more then at party’s.
4) I feel horrible for Gavin, he lost way more then Jordan because he was in the middle of the best time of his life and everything was taken from him and didn’t get the rest of his high school experience and college. I personally think Jordan gets more shine on his boring mostly wasted life then
Gavin does with making the best of of his life before losing it. The girlfriend chapters showed more of a middle school dating then high school in my opinion from where I live lol.
5) I was hoping to see a big hug and kiss on the cheek at least lol.
6) And you were not sure if you wanted to go dummy.
7) New littles being overwhelmed by so many walking skyscrapers moving around and talking in a condensed space makes sense.
8) I think this is where talking with and physically bonding with your guardian helps I think.
9) Surprised Sara didn’t say so is Gavin with him there lol.
10) Everyone but Chole she is a giant angel lol. I waiting for Mal to show up Gavin in front of everyone to show he is like her purse now. I just have a bad feeling with Mal and Gavin.
0) she probably is, lol. I didn’t recognise her withher beanie, and thought her hair was shorter, guess it was tucked in.
1) still an option.
2) she’s great.
3) maybe this isn’t new Mal, maybe it’s party mal.
4) Gavin is worse off than Jordan, I agree. It’s hard to rate Mal as a guardian because her guardian traits are mixed in with girlfriend traits.
5) Give it time, the night is young.
6) he could have been wrong.
7) Oh it’d be like mortals attending a party on Mount Olympus.
8) Of course, that comes down to how good the guardian is too.
9) I think Mal’s called Gavin a keeper before he shrank.
10) Mal’s the biggest red flag in the friendship, but Chloe and Kayla are the only green Flags
0) Lol its Kayla. I’m not sure if you’re joking or don’t recognize her without the beanie. She is wearing light make up as well. Mal did her hair which is probably what is throwing you off as canonically for the party wearing hair extensions. Mallory wanted Kayla’s experience at the party to be a good one she did a bit of a makeover or whatever you want to call it for the party.
1) I feel like most people wear some kind of masks but not as much as Sara. Who wears a mask like she is a secret agent with identities
2) Sara did lose weight but she wasn’t enormous or anything. It was more charity’s bullying that made her feel like she was enormous but led Sara to do doubling and tripling down on exercise, healthy eating etc.
3) Yeah, she is a good friend. Its harder to tell in good girlfriend series as you are only seeing snippets of events that are progressing you through time. Its not really like Smallara mainline series where you see more of the inner workings of a person. But, I wanted to show some of the other dimension in her character. I wouldn’t call this new mallory but more just another part of her. A more guarded side of her that she doesn’t flaunt or show around for the world to see.
4) Although Gavin probably also gets to see her softer side more then most anyone.
4.2) Everyone has their own struggles and demons. No matter the life you were dealt most have struggles. Mal is no different.
5) Well she is pretty. Jordan would need to be hit upside the head with a golf club not to see that.
6) Yup
7) I mean they don’t not talk about how big everything is.
7.2) Kelli has friends who are very well off and been to fancy parties but she also said what she said.
8) It does make it understandable the duology a little deals with.
9) I feel like you would be livid if he wasn’t
10) they do include, love on, and care for him as well.
0) The beanie would have given her away, but the other changes added to her also prevented recognition.
1) Indeed, Sara mask is a formidable one.
2) I do wanna see what fat Sara looked like at some point.
3) I hope she’s like this more often.
4.1) Maybe, I hope to see a soft moment between them.
5) Lol, I could still see him not noticing. (I hope we see Kelli soon)
8) Indeed
9) Probably
10) on the side, if they feel like it.
2) I think girls that are too skinny are gross, I like woman with curves and I am sure Sara was still attractive with a real woman’s curves not fat but her bully just picked on something that most young girls are paranoid about even though it was a lie. My sister had a eating disorder while modeling in collage so unfortunately I heard story’s about others also.
0) I agree. I do like how the Kayla beanie is a trademark.
1)although Sara doesn’t mask around everyone. Ellie and Chloe and Jordan see sara generally unmasked often when not in mixed company.
2) I wouldn’t say she was fat. Thats a bit misleading. As she wasn’t overweight or anything. She just didn’tdo much athletic or fitness related activities so she had little definition of muscle. She wasn’t rail thin or anything but she wasn’t fat or obese either. She was in that range where you woudln’t call her fat or overweight but she was also not model thin or anything.
3) Well she is like this often but not always. As this is a part of her as well. Shes at a party having fun and just hanging with her girls.
4) That will probably happen.
5) That is a fair assessment of him. “Oh she’s attractive? I didn’t notice.”
0) Kayla looks so different without her beanie, but she looks really good without it. I imagine it’s what a fully dressed and prepped Kelli would have looked like
It really is. She doesn’t get dressed up and glammed up often and it was work put in by people to make it happen. So Its like a fully realized dressed up glammed up Kayla. But its also not a regular occurrence.
10) I have a soft spot for Gavin because I think he was a good guy when he was big even though he was a popular jock and he worked really hard at everything and didn’t get to experience his life like Jordan and Kelli did through college being independent and exploring different things like maybe even hooking up with Sara as a drunk fling trying stuff out even though she is more Lez then by. Its sad that he is now confined to having a diminished sex life as a young guy because in girlfriend Mal seemed kind of prudish even though she could hide Gavin on her body if her mom came home. Exploring everything is what your teenage and 20’s is for and poor Gavin I’m afraid wont experience much, not because he is small but because Mal will hide him away and not let anyone interact with him unless she is there. Even Sara.
