Madison's World Redux Season 3 episode

Madison’s World Redux Season 3 Episode 33

The hallway had mostly settled back into its normal rhythm by the time Nicole and Hannah caught up to Dayton, though pockets of students were still glancing in Madison’s direction as she disappeared around the corner.

“What was that all about?” Nicole asked, falling into step beside Dayton while Hannah drifted along on her other side.

Dayton barely slowed. Ezra remained balanced easily in her palm as she moved through the crowd with the kind of confidence that naturally made people shift out of her way. A pair of younger students near the water fountain immediately stepped aside the moment they saw her coming, one of them pressing himself awkwardly against the lockers to avoid brushing too close to Ezra.

Dayton didn’t even acknowledge it.

To her, hallways simply functioned better when people understood their place in them.

“Typical Madison Wessen,” Dayton said dismissively. “Evan seriously needs to keep her people in line. If she thinks I won’t make a pit stop to crush Madison Wessen before math class, she’s got another thing coming.”

“Okay, wow,” Hayden said as she caught up from behind, one hand shoved into the front pocket of her hoodie. “We are really entering our full supervillain era before first period.”

Dayton looked almost pleased by that.

“Thank you.”

“That was not a compliment.”

Hayden glanced back toward where Madison had disappeared. Even from this distance, Madison still looked tense, shoulders slightly tighter than usual as she disappeared into the flow of students.

The amusement on Hayden’s face faded slightly.

“But seriously, Day,” she continued, lowering her voice a little, “Madison’s not just some random hallway girl you can steamroll because she bumped into you.”

“She almost flattened Ezra.”

“I know,” Hayden said patiently, “but she’s still Evan’s best friend. And Charity is Evan’s Little. So when you go full ‘fear me, mortals’ on Madison in the middle of the hallway, you’re not just poking Madison. You’re poking that entire weird ecosystem they’ve got going on over there.”

Dayton’s jaw tightened faintly.

Hayden saw it immediately and lifted one hand before Dayton could respond.

“And yes, before you say it, I know Charity is not forgiven,” Hayden added. “I was there. I heard the tiny Hallmark card from hell.”

Hannah made a choking sound beside Nicole, trying and failing not to laugh.

Nicole looked horrified for half a second before she started laughing too.

Dayton rolled her eyes dramatically.

“It was an important message.”

“It sounded like Batman threatening a suburban mom,” Hayden replied.

Ezra quietly covered part of his face with one hand.

Students passing nearby kept glancing over, and Ezra found it impossible not to notice how strange the social dynamic surrounding Dayton actually was. People knew who she was. Not celebrity-level attention, but reputation. Students moved around her differently than they did around everyone else. Some looked amused. Some wary. Some openly curious about Ezra standing in her hand like a living accessory to the conversation.

And Ezra clearly noticed all of it too.

He tried to make himself smaller whenever people stared too long, shoulders subtly curling inward despite Dayton’s constant insistence that he should carry himself proudly. Ezra could see the contradiction written all over him. Dayton genuinely cared about him. That much was obvious. But she also made him impossible to ignore.

Hayden leaned a little closer to Dayton again.

“All I’m saying is if you’re gonna crush Madison Wessen, maybe do it strategically. Not in the hallway before math like you’re auditioning to be the final boss of eighth grade.”

Dayton immediately straightened slightly.

“First off, incredibly rude. Second, I am the final boss of eighth grade.”

“That part honestly tracks,” Hannah muttered.

Dayton ignored her.

“Also, if Madison runs back to Evan with this,” Hayden continued, pulling her phone halfway out of her pocket, “Evan is absolutely going to hear it as you coming after Charity again. And then this whole thing gets messy.”

Nicole nodded immediately. “Like group-chat messy.”

“Exactly,” Hayden said. “Screenshot messy. Cafeteria-side-eye messy. Everyone-being-annoying messy.”

She pointed lightly at Dayton.

“So maybe we don’t crush Madison before math. Maybe we psychologically inconvenience her instead. Cleaner. More elegant. Less paperwork.”

Dayton actually considered that.

“That is elegant,” she admitted.

“Thank you.”

From Dayton’s hand, Ezra finally spoke up.

“Dayton, I really wasn’t hurt,” he said carefully. “It’s not actually a big deal. Honestly, this kind of comes with the territory of being a Little.”

Dayton stopped walking so abruptly Nicole nearly bumped into her.

She looked down at Ezra with the expression of someone who had just heard something personally offensive.

“You are my Little, Ezra.”

Her tone was crisp, absolute.

“That makes you the top Little in this school after Kinsley.”

Nicole blinked.

“And Kinsley is Kinsley,” Dayton continued. “So that is not even an insult. That is simply the natural order of things.”

Nicole stared at her for a second.

“I genuinely can’t tell if that was sweet or extremely Dayton.”

“It was both,” Hayden said immediately. “Unfortunately, she’s multitasking.”

Ezra sighed quietly into his hands.

Dayton adjusted her grip on him slightly before continuing down the hallway.

“We do not get run into,” she declared. “Do you see how the crowd parts for us? They understand there is order. Structure. Basic hallway etiquette. Madison Wessen just declared war on all three.”

A group of sixth graders immediately shifted aside again as Dayton passed them.

One actually whispered, “Sorry,” despite not having touched her.

Hayden stared at Dayton for a long moment.

“You know normal people just say ‘excuse me’ and keep walking, right?”

Dayton kept her eyes forward.

“Normal people don’t have standards. The unwashed masses of this school should aspire to more.”

Hannah barked out a laugh loud enough that several students turned toward them.

“You sound like you’re about to invade a very small country,” Hayden said.

Dayton lifted her chin slightly.

“If the country had poor hallway etiquette, perhaps it had it coming.”

Nicole shook her head as the group resumed walking.

“I know you don’t like Evan and her crew,” she said, “but you can’t just pick fights with Madison every single time you see her.”

Dayton looked genuinely offended.

“I didn’t pick a fight,” she said immediately. “I was literally minding my own business when she ran into me, Nicole.”

She adjusted Ezra carefully in her hand before continuing.

“And she almost hurt Ezra. Inexcusable.”

Nicole gave her a look that made it clear she was not fully buying this version of events.

“If this was Kinsley,” Dayton pressed on before anyone could interrupt, “all of you would be freaking out right now. Ezra deserves the same level of outrage. Our group should equally defend the rights of all our Littles.”

That slowed the group for a second.

Because underneath the dramatics, Dayton sounded sincere.

Nicole’s eyebrows lifted slightly.

“So Dayton Harris is now defending Little rights?”

Dayton frowned immediately.

“Why are you saying that like it’s difficult to believe?”

Hannah snorted.

“Maybe because of the several hundred hours you’ve spent raging against him.”

“That,” Dayton replied without missing a beat, “was during Ezra’s pre-Little era.”

Nicole actually laughed at that.

Dayton continued confidently.

“This is fully embraced short king Ezra. Completely different.”

Ezra buried his face in one hand.

“I liked it better when you were mad at me,” he muttered.

“That’s fair,” Hannah admitted.

Ahead of them, farther down the hallway, Dayton caught one last glimpse of Madison disappearing into a classroom.

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

“Interesting,” she murmured.

Hayden glanced over. “What?”

Dayton smiled faintly.

“She looked stressed already before I even said anything.”

Hayden immediately groaned.

“Oh no. Don’t make this your new enrichment activity.”

so to me that sounds like Evan’s aware of what Charity did, just not sure to what extent.

also I was thinking Brooklyn was the leader in that group, not evan. that’s interesting to know.

Now I’m wondering how much of the school knows about Madisons parents being littles. Maybe they all know and it just didn’t come out verbally in this chapter, but to me, Dayton didn’t seem to be aware

Evan knows exactly who Charity is, or at least she used to be. She mentioned watching Charity easily destroy people she didn’t like at parties. So she knows what Charity is capable of. And she adores her. Incidentally, Charity bullied Sarah, but the suicide attempt was Sarah’s own decision and a slap on her friends for their inaction.

Dayton vs Madison inside Hell in a Cell, anyway, I loved this episode since it has Dayton and her friends in it, who are some of my favorite characters. I’m interested to see how Madison and company react to this declaration of war. Also, I love Dayton’s outfit in the image.

If Evan does know what Charity has done to Sara, and is a big fan of Sara as a streamer. I wonder how that relationship has changed in the time between the Evan and Madison stories because of Evan finding out the truth.

Your right Dayton would probably have the advantage.

I think Dayton’s demonic heritage would give her the upper hoof.

Most people fall away from their friends, I know I don’t talk to half of the friends I had when I was 12-13

I love these school scenes, especially dayton and crew, because they show just how backwards and casual everyone is about all of these children literally owning slaves. Dayton doesn’t even try to mask it or pretend to be anything other than a monster who uses her privilege from being in a wealthy family and knowing an Uber rich heiress to a slave distribution and outfitting company to exert control over those around her. She doesn’t pretend to give a damn about little slaves as a whole, just the ones she is in control of. It makes her much more enjoyable as a character to me, because her motivations and actions all make perfect sense and I really enjoy her inner conflict of having to come to terms with her best friend being a little slave and having to convince herself constantly that she is different. Also, her friends are funny.

I am really interested in how maddy will take her frustrations out on her little slave bigot mom. I especially hope Greg has to watch as he silently contemplates how to lightly mention to Kenzie about maybe stepping up and not letting Maddie use slave labor in the house she legally owns. But it isn’t happening to him so I am sure he is fine with it.

1) Well, if I gotta chose sides in this upcoming confrontation, I would have to go with Madison on this one.

2) Dayton needs some humility in her life. I remember the cliques and attitudes in school, but no one ever lorded enough power to part the crowds as they walked down the hall, so I think Dayton deserves a dose of humility at this point.

3) Does she expect this fawning when she moves on to her next school? If she does and doesn’t get it, there will be some backlash from those that she “crushed” before when they realize she doesn’t wield all of that power anymore.

4) How long has Ezra been with Dayton at this point? He seems fairly comfortable with the situation.

5) “She almost flattened Ezra.”  – This is an exaggeration.

6) Perhaps if Dayton didn’t expect the Red Sea to part for her all of the time, she would be a bit more circumspect while walking the halls.

7) “And yes, before you say it, I know Charity is not forgiven,” Hayden added. – Is this just their group that holds this grudge? Are they not aware of Sara forgiving Charity (was it forgiveness or just brushing the issue aside?)

8) “It sounded like Batman threatening a suburban mom,” Hayden replied.  – Hayden knows how to put things in perspective! 😁

9) “Also, if Madison runs back to Evan with this,” Hayden continued, pulling her phone halfway out of her pocket, “Evan is absolutely going to hear it as you coming after Charity again. And then this whole thing gets messy.”  – So… they are not untouchable

10) “We do not get run into,” she declared. “Do you see how the crowd parts for us? They understand there is order. Structure. Basic hallway etiquette. Madison Wessen just declared war on all three.”  – No. Madison did what humans do, she made a mistake.

11) “So Dayton Harris is now defending Little rights?”  – Is Dayton aware of Madison’s (Cindy’s) views regarding Littles?

12 Ahead of them, farther down the hallway, Dayton caught one last glimpse of Madison disappearing into a classroom.
Her eyes narrowed slightly.
“Interesting,” she murmured.  – This does not bode well.

Funny how dayton hates charity for being a bully but in turn will happily bully Madison…

1) “one of them pressing himself awkwardly against the lockers to avoid brushing too close to Ezra.  Dayton didn’t even acknowledge it.  To her, hallways simply functioned better when people understood their place in them” She’s such a cunt that even passively she’s getting people to avoid her

2) “Evan seriously needs to keep her people in line.” Right. Cause Dayton’s always been in line and never stepped out of it/s

3) “We are really entering our full supervillain era before first period.” Dayton looked almost pleased by that.  “Thank you.”  She’s a bully, and she fucking knows it.

4) “But seriously, Day,” she continued, lowering her voice a little, “Madison’s not just some random hallway girl you can steamroll because she bumped into you.” Maybe not, but it is nice to see Satan Dayton this bothered by someone

5) “She almost flattened Ezra.”  And who are you to judge such things? At least what she did was an accident (at least on her part); you chose to bully Jordan into the risky position he ended up in.

6) “you’re not just poking Madison. You’re poking that entire weird ecosystem they’ve got going on over there.” It’s called a friend group, you’ve got one too.

7) “Ezra found it impossible not to notice how strange the social dynamic surrounding Dayton actually was. People knew who she was. Not celebrity-level attention, but reputation. Students moved around her differently than they did around everyone else. Some looked amused. Some wary. Some openly curious about Ezra standing in her hand like a living accessory to the conversation.” She’s your typical queen-bee type bully character.

8) “shoulders subtly curling inward despite Dayton’s constant insistence that he should carry himself proudly “she doesn’t want people to see how miserable she makes him

9) “Evan is absolutely going to hear it as you coming after Charity again. And then this whole thing gets messy.” Again? What happened last time?  This could be interesting given that Evan also has a (admittedly less direct) connection to clan Gracewood, which seems to be a massive factor in Dayton’s power)

10) “Dayton, I really wasn’t hurt. It’s not actually a big deal. Honestly, this kind of comes with the territory of being a Little.” Ezra, buddy, she doesn’t actually care about you; she’s using you as an excuse to act on her hatred of that group.

11) “You are my Little, Ezra.  That makes you the top Little in this school after Kinsley.”  The fucking ego on this bitch, she probably thinks that’s some sort of honour and not putting him just a bit higher than the very bottom.

12) “And Kinsley is Kinsley.  So that is not even an insult. That is simply the natural order of things.” It would be hard to find a Little higher than Kinsley

13) “You sound like you’re about to invade a very small country,” – “If the country had poor hallway etiquette, perhaps it had it coming.” She would defend some very horrible historical figures if given the chance.

14) “Our group should equally defend the rights of all our Littles.” You don’t even put Ezra on the same level as Kingsley.

15) “So Dayton Harris is now defending Little rights?” No, she’s using them as an excuse to enact a personal vendetta

16) “Maybe because of the several hundred hours you’ve spent raging against them.”  “That was during Ezra’s pre-Little era.”  So,  she’s once again undergone more off-screen development? (though I do like the implication that Ezra’s stubborn enough to force change in her opinions)

17) “I liked it better when you were mad at me,” That was more true to herself

18)  “Oh no. Don’t make this your new enrichment activity.” This is a good rivalry for me because they’re both terrible people, so whoever wins, I get to see one of them suffer.

0) Not sure if this been brought up before, but I’m curious. If I recall correctly, Lethal is in Australia or somewhere nearby. And judging from the TV/cinema I have seen, I can only assume that the word “cunt” is quite common and when used does not cause jaws to drop. But if you use it here in America, BOY!! Watch out! (I am amused by this not offended)

8) I love how you see things that I don’t. That is a very insightful observation.

10) Makes me wonder if she had not had Ezra, would she still pick the fight?

11) I guess he is “top of the heap” (heap of dung).

0) I am Australian, as fair dinkum as they get. Although yeah, I know Americans can be quite sensitive, especially to that word.

8) part of it is I don’t trust Dayton to be genuinely altruistic, especially with her past of anti-little rights.

10) to indirectly get at Charity? Possibly through a different method.

11) yeah, second highest Little is line saying second heaviest feather.

1) This is not something Kids will do unless they are intimidated into it.

2) IDGAF about Dayton’s people, that line was about Dayton herself.

3) Charity was a full time bully, Dayton isn’t as bad, but she’s still a bully

4) That’s fair

5) What Dayton did to Jordan was an active choice she made, what happened here is an accident Madison didn’t apologise for. (unless you’re counting Charity’s actions against Sara as what Dayton’s reacting to, which I wasn’t)

6) I’m sure she and her friends have shared Littles too, just not formalised it.

8) Of course, Dayton cares more, his presence reflects on her way more than the other way around.

9) True, but Chloe herself facilitated the transfer of Charity to Even, that’s not nothing.

10) That’s what I mean though, she isn’t really upset about wat happened to him, just using it as a catalyst for a preexisting gripe.

13) But am I wrong?

14) Ezra as her Little should be a higher priority, not saying she needs to disregard Kinsley entirely, but Ezra should come first.

15) That makes it more of an excuse, she’s letting something Madison did by accident be her set up for revenge for an entirely unconnected wrongdoing someone Madisons knows did. She’s not doing this for Little rights, she’s not doing this for Ezra, she’s doing it for Sara.

I don’t blame Dayton for hating Charity, Charity was a monster and deserves it, as much as disagree with Sara, she didn’t deserve to go through that. While I agree Sara’s choices were a pretty big factor in how things turned out I don’t blame her for them as she was pressured into that choice by how she was treated.

I also understand why Dayton wouldn’t like the fact that some people want to associate with Charity after what she did to Sara. It’s the same way I don’t like that Sara and her friends still chose to associate with Dayton after what she did to Jordan.

Viewing Even and her friends as siding with Charity over what happened is an understandable conclusion, but also kind of unfair as they don’t actually know what happened, neither Charity nor Dayton are willing to tell ‘em. They just know that beef exists between them.

16) Oh, I thought she was getting into Cindy style arguments with people online, going to some ‘underbred humper’s” Shard account and leaving hateful comments that ‘disprove’ pro-Little movements

17) Probably, but who said Ezra deserved convenience?

18) My hatred makes me stronger
