The hulking frame of Dayton hung over the plastic ball Jordan found himself trapped in. He could only watch as her hands came down on either side in front of him. The semi-translucent nature of plastic made it impossible to see Nicolle. The entire situation was horrifying. The idea of being stuck in this hamster ball anytime Sara went to Dayton’s was not something he was looking forward to.
“Dayton, let me out of here,” Jordan shouted through one of the slits hoping his voice would carry well enough now that she was crouched down with her hands and knees on the floor.
“Fat chance, we don’t want to play with you anymore. You ruined the afternoon, so you can just stay in there,” Dayton said with a bit of attitude as she looked down at the diminutive man stuck in her hamster ball.
“Maybe if you beg me, I will think about playing with you,” Dayton added while thinking about just swatting the ball. However, she didn’t want to actually harm him. She just needed him to fear her a little bit as fear would lead to obedience and respect.
“If you don’t let me out of here. I’m going to tell Sara everything.” Jordan shouted playing the only card he could think of that would possibly sway them into listening to him. As soon as Jordan shouted out the only bargaining chip he saw as Dayton paused and look down at him. She was clearly considering his demands.
“You really think she’s going to believe you? What proof do you have anything happened? We could just tell her you made the whole thing up and you’re just trying to get us in trouble.” Dayton said with a smirk as he looked down. “Face it, you’re still underneath our thumb where you’re going to stay. So I suggest you start showing me a little respect”
“I’m her Whitto man. Sara adores me. Do you really think she’s going to believe you over me?” Jordan argues back as best he could but to himself, we wondered if Dayton was right. In an argument of his word against hers would Sara take his side? Would she believe that he would actually try to run away? More importantly, Jordan had hoped Dayton wouldn’t have called his bluff. The idea of going to Sara to explain that he had tried to run away seems like a surefire way to not only get on her bad side. Plus he would have to spend what could be weeks, months, or even years rebuilding trust with her. While at best Dayton would get a talking a to. Maybe she would be grounded or punished for a week. However, he knew he would get the worst of it.
“I’m Sara’s favorite you’re just her pet so it’s not the same. Tell him, Nicolle.” Dayton said as she continued to peer down at Jordan.
“I’m staying out of this. I wanted to watch a movie. You two need to figure out you alls business.” Nicolle said before tossing another chip into her mouth.
